''Rainism'' is the fifth Korean-language studio album from South Korean singer Rain (entertainer), Rain, and the first album since his departure from JYP Entertainment. The album was released on the October 15, 2008, in South Korea. The first single taken from the album, ''Love Story'', became another hit for Rain. The album was released in four formats throughout Asia. Releases ''Rainism'' was released in various formats throughout Southeast Asia. The album was released with a new cover. Each version was released with the original track list as well as international versions of his two singles, ″Love Story″ and "Rainism", in English language, English, Japanese language, Japanese and Chinese language, Chinese. The album was re-released in South Korea on March 5, 2009. The album was retitled, ''Rainism Recollection'' and packaged as a limited edition album with new album art. ''Back to the Basic'' is the first Korean-language extended play by South Korean R&B and pop singer Rain. It was their first EP two years after the release their Korean-language studio album Rainism. Upon the release the EP was a commercial performance and sold more than 56,000 copies in South Korea and 8,000 in Japan as of 2013. The album peaked at number 1 in on the Gaon Album Chart and number 25 on the Oricon Albums Chart. Background As a farewell to his fans before going for 21 months of compulsory military service, Rain toured throughout Asia including Indonesia, Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore. This was the first tour where Rain traveled throughout Korea with stops in Busan, Guangzhou, Jeju, Daegu, Daeieon and Seoul. Reception The EP sold over 53,584 in South Korea becoming the 22nd best-selling album of 2010. In Japan, the EP sold over 50,000. Rain's Coming World Tour
The Rain's Coming World Tour is first worldwide concert tour (second overall) by South Korean singer Rain. It saw 17 shows in Asia, North America and Australia from December 2006 to October 2007 in support of his fourth Korean studio album '' Rain's World'' (2006). A free promotional concert was held at the Seoul Olympic Stadium one day prior to the album's release. History The Rain's Coming World Tour began on December 15, 2006, at Seoul Olympic Stadium in Seoul and was scheduled to continue through 2007 to the following countries: Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Japan, Taiwan, Australia, United States, and Canada. ''Inkigayo'' ( ko, 인기가요; English title: ''The Music Trend'', previously ''Popular Song'') is a South Korean music program broadcast by SBS. It airs live every Sunday. The show features some of the latest and most popular artists who perform on stage. It is broadcast from the SBS Open Hall in Deungchon-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul. History ''Inkigayo'' debuted as ''SBS Popular Song'' in 1991 as a chart show, but was canceled in fall 1993 because it was replaced by TV Gayo 20 (TV 가요20). ''Rain's World'' is the fourth Korean-language studio album by South Korean pop and R&B singer Rain. Two years after his last album, Rain finally came back with his fourth album. Building on the success of its predecessor, the album further established him as one of the top musical acts in Southeast Asia. a repackaged album was released on December 22, 2006. Olympic Gymnastics Arena
The Olympic Gymnastics Arena (), also known as the KSPO Dome since 2018, is an indoor arena located within the Olympic Park in Seoul, South Korea. It has a capacity of 15,000 and can be extended upto 20,000. It was constructed between 31 August 1984 and 30 April 1986, to host the gymnastics competitions at the 1988 Summer Olympics. The AsiaWorld–Expo is one of the two major convention and exhibition facilities in Hong Kong along with Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
