Rainbow (company)
Rainbow S.p.A. is an Italian studio founded by Iginio Straffi. Viacom (2005–2019), Viacom (now known as Paramount Global) became a co-owner of the studio in 2011. Rainbow has collaborated with Viacom/Paramount's other company, Nickelodeon, on multiple shows, including ''Winx Club'' and ''Club 57 (TV series), Club 57''. The studio is based in Loreto, Marche and was founded by Straffi in 1995. Rainbow began as an animation studio, providing creative services for larger companies until it secured enough funds for original productions. In February 2011, Viacom purchased 30% of the company for 62 million euros (US$83 million), leaving the remaining 70% to Iginio Straffi. Viacom's Nickelodeon networks broadcast Rainbow's shows worldwide and Rainbow acts as the licensing agent for Nickelodeon's shows in Italy. Iginio Straffi
Iginio Straffi is an Italian animator and former comic book author. He is the founder and president of Rainbow SpA, which he co-owns alongside the American media company Paramount Global. Straffi is the creator of the studio's animated series '' Winx Club'' and '' Huntik: Secrets & Seekers'', as well as the co-creator of its comic book series '' Maya Fox''. While at university, Straffi published his first comic story in a 1985 issue of ''Tilt''. He continued to work as a comic book illustrator through the 1990s, eventually drawing an issue of Sergio Bonelli Editore's ''Nick Raider'' series. In 1995, Straffi founded Rainbow with the assistance of Lamberto Pigini and Giuseppe Casali. The studio began with a capital of 10,000 euros, which was mostly used to purchase computers and software for digital design. Studio 100
Studio 100 is a Belgian production company with four television channels, four animation studios and 8 theme parks around the world. The headquarters of the group is based in Schelle, with offices in Breda, Munich, Paris, New York, Sydney and Los Angeles. History Studio 100 was founded in 1996 by Gert Verhulst, Danny Verbiest and Hans Bourlon. The three came together in 1989 when they created the show ''Samson & Gert'', in which Verhulst and Verbiest also starred. ''PopPixie'' is an Italian animated miniseries created by Iginio Straffi. Its only season aired on Rai 2 for just over two months, from 10 January to 22 March 2011. The show features a cast of pixies, who were first introduced as secondary characters in the Winx Club (season 2), second season of ''Winx Club''. Secrecy is the practice of hiding information from certain individuals or groups who do not have the "need to know", perhaps while sharing it with other individuals.
