Ragna Biskopstø Patawary (née Andreasen; born 10 November 1980) is a Faroese footballer who plays as a defender for Klaksvíkar Ítróttarfelag. She has been a member of the Faroe Islands women's national team. Klaksvík
Klaksvík is the second largest town of the Faroe Islands behind Tórshavn. The town is located on Borðoy, which is one of the northernmost islands (the Norðoyar). It is the administrative centre of Klaksvík municipality. History The first settlement at Klaksvík dates back to Viking times, but it was not until the 20th century that the district merged to form a large, modern Faroese town that became a cultural and commercial centre for the Northern Isles and the Faroe Islands as a whole. Klaksvík is located between two inlets lying back to back. It has an important harbour with fishing industry and a modern fishing fleet. Originally, four farms were located where Klaksvík is now. In time, they grew into four villages: Vágur, Myrkjanoyri, Gerðar and Uppsalir; which finally merged to form the town of Klaksvík in 1938. KÍ Klaksvík Kvinnur is the women's football team of KÍ Klaksvík, a Faroese football club, based in Klaksvík and founded in 1904. The club plays in blue and white. Their stadium, Djúpumýra, has a capacity of 3,000. The women's team was created in 1985. It is the reigning champion of the 1. deild kvinnur and the most successful in the Faroe Islands. They have won the 1. deild for a record-breaking past 17 seasons. The Faroe Islands women's national football team represents the Faroe Islands in women's association football and is controlled by the Faroe Islands Football Association (FSF), the governing body of all football in the Faroe Islands. The FSF became a member of International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) in 1988 and Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) in 1990. By population it remains the fourth smallest member of UEFA, which encompasses the countries of Europe. The women's team played their first FIFA-sanctioned international match in 1995 and have never advanced to the finals of the FIFA Women's World Cup or UEFA Women's Championship. Rannvá Biskopstø Andreasen (born 10 November 1980) is a Faroese football forward for KÍ Klaksvík of the Faroese 1. deild kvinnur. Since 2004, she has represented the Faroe Islands women's national football team at senior international level. She is the national team's all-time record goalscorer, inclusive of both male and female players. Club career In 1995, aged 14, Andreasen made her 1. deild kvinnur debut for KÍ Klaksvík in an 11–0 thrashing by rivals HB Tórshavn. Despite the inauspicious start Andreasen emerged as a promising player and finished her first season with 15 goals.
