Rag Doll (comics)
Rag Doll is the name of three different supervillains appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Peter Merkel is a villain of the original Flash (Jay Garrick), Flash. The second Rag Doll is an enemy of Starman (Jack Knight), Starman. The third Rag Doll is the son of the original and a member of the Secret Six (comics), Secret Six. Rag Doll made his live appearance on the The Flash (season 5), fifth season of ''The Flash'' played by Troy James and voiced by Phil LaMarr. He returned in an episode of the The Flash (season 6), sixth season. Publication history Rag Doll was first introduced as an adversary for the Golden age Flash (comics), Flash in a story published in ''Flash Comics'' #36 (December 1942 in comics, 1942), created by writer Gardner Fox and artist Lou Ferstadt. Phillip LaMarr (born January 24, 1967) is an American actor, comedian and screenwriter. LaMarr was one of the original featured cast members on the sketch comedy television series ''Mad TV''. His voice acting roles in animated series include John Stewart / Green Lantern in ''Justice League'' and ''Justice League Unlimited'', Hermes Conrad in ''Futurama'', the title characters of ''Samurai Jack'' and ''Static Shock'', and Wilt in ''Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends''. Justice Society Of America
The Justice Society of America (JSA, or Justice Society (JS)) is a superhero team appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The team was conceived by editor Sheldon Mayer and writer Gardner Fox during the Golden Age of Comic Books. The JSA first appeared in ''All Star Comics'' #3 (Winter 1940–1941), making it the first team of superheroes in comic books. The original members of the Justice Society of America were Doctor Fate, Hourman, the Spectre, Sandman, Atom, the Flash, Green Lantern, and Hawkman. The team was initially popular, but after the popularity of superhero comics waned in the late 1940s, the JSA's adventures ceased with issue #57 of the title (March 1951).
