Rafał Dutkiewicz
Rafał Dutkiewicz (born 6 July 1959, Mikstat) is a Polish politician and entrepreneur who served as the city mayor of Wrocław, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Poland from 2002 to 2018. Career till 2002 In the late 1970s and early 1980s he engaged in the organisation of the Christian Culture Weeks in Wrocław and held the chair of the Adam Mickiewicz Scholarship Association. He was also actively involved in the Scouts movement as a member of ZHP (The Polish Scouting Association) General Council. In 1982 he earned the Master of Science degree in applied mathematics from the Faculty of Fundamental Problems of Technology at the Wrocław University of Technology. He also studied at the Department of Christian Philosophy of the Catholic University of Lublin, and in 1985 obtained his doctoral degree in formal logic ("Research on the Beth semantic tableaux method") under the supervision of Professor Ludwik Borkowski. The 2012 UEFA European Football Championship, commonly referred to as UEFA Euro 2012 or simply Euro 2012, was the 14th European Championship for men's national football teams organised by UEFA. The final tournament, held between 8 June and 1 July 2012, was co-hosted by Poland and Ukraine (both first time hosts), and was won by Spain, who beat Italy 4–0 in the final at the Olympic Stadium, Kyiv, Ukraine. Poland and Ukraine's bid was chosen by the UEFA Executive Committee on 18 April 2007. FIBA EuroBasket
EuroBasket, also commonly referred to as the European Basketball Championship, is the main international basketball competition that is contested quadrennially, by the senior men's national teams that are governed by FIBA Europe, which is the European zone within the International Basketball Federation. The "Weimar Triangle" is, loosely, a grouping of France, Germany, and Poland. The group is intended to promote co-operation between the three countries in crisis zones. It exists mostly in the form of summit meetings between the leaders of these three countries, and of their foreign ministers. The most recent summit of leaders occurred in Berlin on 8 February 2022. White Stork Synagogue
The White Stork Synagogue ( pl, Synagoga Pod Białym Bocianem) is a nineteenth-century synagogue in Wrocław, Poland.
