Raewyn Hill
Raewyn Hill (born 1972) is a New Zealand choreographer and dancer now active in Australia. Career Hill was born in Oamaru and entered the New Zealand School of Dance when she was fifteen, graduating in 1992. She has worked with Sue Healey and Garry Stewart's dance company Thwack. She performed as a dancer in various productions including '' Xena: Warrior Princess'' and the BBC's ''The Lost World''. Her last performance was the solo production ''We are gathered here today''. Hill retired from performing in 2006. She provided choreography for the TVNZ series ''Rude Awakenings'' in 2008 and also provided advice to the producers of the New Zealand's ''So You Think You Can Dance''. Hill has been a guest teacher and choreographer for Royal New Zealand Ballet, Footnote Dance, New Zealand School of Dance, Beijing Dance Academy, Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts and Tasdance.In 2001, she formed Soapbox Productions, which toured New Zealand, performing eight full-length works. ... Oamaru
Oamaru (; mi, Te Oha-a-Maru) is the largest town in North Otago, in the South Island of New Zealand, it is the main town in the Waitaki District. It is south of Timaru and north of Dunedin on the Pacific coast; State Highway 1 and the railway Main South Line connect it to both cities. Cité Internationale Des Arts
The Cité internationale des arts is an artist-in-residence building complex which accommodates artists of all specialities and nationalities in Paris. It comprises two sites, one located in the Marais and the other in Montmartre. Arts Foundation Of New Zealand
'The Arts Foundation of New Zealand Te Tumu Toi is a New Zealand arts organisation that supports artistic excellence and facilitates private philanthropy through raising funds for the arts and allocating it to New Zealand artists. The concept of setting up an organisation to raise private funding for the arts was initiated by Creative New Zealand in 1997. Its chair Brian Stevenson approached Richard Cathie to chair a working party on the subject and Sir Ronald Scott was appointed consultant, with help from Gisella Carr. Early working party members and trustees included Lady Mary Hardie Boys, Lady Gillian Deane, Dame Jenny Gibbs, Sir Paul Reeves, Sir John Todd, Sir Miles Warren and Sir Eion Edgar.
