Radio Disney Jams, Vol. 11
''Radio Disney Jams'' was a series of CD compilations of music that was featured on Radio Disney, a children's radio network. The first album was released in 1999, titled ''Radio Disney Kid Jams'', containing the top songs from Radio Disney's playlist. Additional volumes of the ''Jams'' series were periodically released over time, dropping "Kid" from the titles. Special albums spun off from the series included two ''Holiday Jams'' albums, an ''Ultimate Jams'' with select songs from ''Jams'' 1-6, ''Jingle Jams'' (Series 2004 & 2005), ''Pop Dreamers'', ''Move It'', ''Party Jams'' from their tenth birthday concert, a 15th Birthday Edition, and a 2015 awards show edition. Radio Disney was an American radio network operated by the Disney Radio Networks unit of Disney Branded Television within Disney General Entertainment Content, headquartered in Burbank, California. The network broadcast music programming oriented towards children, pre-teens and teenagers, focusing mainly on current hit music and a heavy emphasis on teen idols (particularly those signed with Disney Music Group record labels, such as Hollywood and Walt Disney); compared to most CHR stations, Radio Disney was far more aggressive in playing only current hits and eschewed recurrent rotation. "I Got You (I Feel Good)" is a song by the American singer James Brown. First recorded for the 1964 album '' Out of Sight'' and then released in an alternate take as a single in 1965 and included on the compilation album of the same name, it was his highest-charting song on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and is arguably his best-known recording. In 2013, the 1965 recording was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. "Wipe Out" is a surf music instrumental composed by Bob Berryhill, Pat Connolly, Jim Fuller and Ron Wilson. Composed in the form of twelve-bar blues, the tune was first performed and recorded by the Surfaris, who became famous with the single in 1963. The single was first issued on the independent labels DFS (#11/12) in January 1963 and Princess (#50) in February and finally picked up for national distribution on Dot as 45–16479 in April.
