Radical Face
Radical Face is a musical act whose main member is Ben Cooper. History 2003–2010: Early years Cooper chose the name Radical Face upon seeing it on a flyer. He later learned it was a plastic surgery flyer for a 'Radical Face-Lift' with the word 'lift' ripped off. Cooper's first album to be recorded under the Radical Face pseudonym was ''The Junkyard Chandelier'' (2003). The album was never formally released but has since been available as a free download online. ''Ghost,'' released in 2007, was the first official studio album by Radical Face. 2010–2016: ''The Family Tree'' On November 16, 2010, Cooper released a six-track EP titled ''Touch The Sky'', which served as a prelude for an announced trilogy of albums called ''The Family Tree.'' Haldern Pop
Haldern Pop is an annual German open air music festival, first held in 1984. It takes place in Rees-Haldern (North Rhine-Westphalia). Focus The Haldern Pop Festival cannot be limited to one genre. The focus ranges from experimental metal, punk and indie-pop to jazz, classical concerts and German folk music. Played on several stages in the village of Haldern. Next to the main stage, a mirror tent on the festival grounds will be used for the performances. The other stages are the pub "Haldern Pop Bar", the St. Georg church, a youth center and a recording studio in the village. History The festival started as an annual party on the premises of Haldern's Old Riding Arena organized by local altar servers. ''Ghost'' is the debut studio album by the American music act Radical Face. It was released on March 2, 2007, through Morr Music. ''Ghost'' is a concept album based on the idea of houses retaining stories of what has happened in them. Each song is a story, some told from the house's point of view. Ben Cooper cited an old house he lived in as one of the inspirations for ''Ghost''. Most of his work on the album was done in an old tool shed behind his house. Cooper, Mark Hubbard, and Alex Kane collaborated with Emeral Cooper for some tracks on the album.
