Radial Roads, Hyderabad
The Radial Road or RR are roads identified as the main connecting roads between inner ring road and outer ring road in Hyderabad, Telangana India. It was built for better connectivity between city roads. Overview The project aimed at giving better connectivity plans to extend the existing Ring Roads (inner/outer) to 4/6 lanes. On the initiation of the (HMDA), the two radial roads to be extended include the roads, as of January, 2012, from Shaikpet to Kokapet(outer ring road/ORR) and Radhika Theatre to Yadgarpally outer ring road via Thumkunta. The project is being assisted financially by the (JICA). Work on another three roads are already in progress. According to HMDA's survey, altogether 33 radial roads will be required to ensure smooth traffic flow from the inner to outer ring road. Shamshabad is a city in the Indian state of Telangana. It is located in Shamshabad mandal of Rajendranagar revenue division. The international airport of Hyderabad is located here. The Regional Ring Road is a proposed ring road around the city of Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is a 6 lane, road, planned on strengthening the existing road network and by adding new stretches wherever linkages were found missing. Elevated Expressways In Hyderabad
P. V. Narasimha Rao Expressway is an 11.6 km long elevated road connecting the Hyderabad International Airport with Mehdipatnam. Chief minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy laid the foundation stone for the project. It was opened to the traffic at the end points on 19 October 2009. The Unified Metropolitan Transportation Authority or UMTA is the urban transportation planning agency of Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It was constituted in 2008 by an Act of the Andhra Pradesh legislature (G O Ms. No. 624).
