Radcliffe Football Club (formerly Radcliffe Borough) is an English football club based in Radcliffe, Greater Manchester, Radcliffe, Greater Manchester where they play their games at Stainton Park. The club was formed on 24 May 1949 and currently plays in the Northern Premier League Premier Division. Radcliffe won the division in 1996–97, won the playoffs twice in 2003 and 2019 and reached the first round of the FA Cup for the first time in its history in 2000. The club changed its name to Radcliffe Football Club for the 2018–19 season. History The club was formed on 24 May 1949 at the Owd Tower Inn in Radcliffe by Jack Pickford & a committee of 17 and became a member of the South East Lancashire Football League. Neuven Stadium
Neuven Stadium, also known as Stainton Park is a association football, football ground in Radcliffe, Greater Manchester, which has hosted Radcliffe F.C. since 1969. It has a capacity of 3,500 (350 seated). The ground record attendance, however, stands with a non-Radcliffe game when 2,200 turned up to watch FC United vs Castleton Gabriels (now known as Rochdale Town F.C., Rochdale Town). The ground has been upgraded with floodlights, an all-weather pitch, terracing, and a sports clinic. The ground has always been known as Stainton Park but has been officially renamed Neuven Stadium for its sponsorship by Neuven Solutions Limited. Radcliffe FC have had a ground-sharing agreement with Bury AFC since August 2020. The 2001–02 season was the 122nd season of competitive football in England. Events Arsenal cruise to title glory In what had earlier been one of the most closely fought Premiership title races for years, Arsenal won the championship by a seven-point margin. Thomas Patrick Miller (born 29 June 1990) is an English professional footballer who plays as a Defender (association football), defender for Stalybridge Celtic F.C., Stalybridge Celtic. Courtney Meppen-Walter
Courtney Alister Meppen-Walter (born 2 August 1994) is an English professional footballer who plays for Guiseley as a defender. He previously played for Carlisle United. Career Meppen-Walter began his career with Manchester City; he was released from the club after being found guilty of causing death by careless driving. In November 2013, after being released from prison, he joined Carlisle United on trial, and later that month he signed an initial one-month contract with the club. in December 2013, manager Graham Kavanagh announced that Meppen-Walter would be considered for the club's next game in the FA Cup, where he made his senior debut. Raheem Shaquille Rushan Hanley (born 24 February 1994) is professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Stalybridge Celtic. Sunderland () is a port city in Tyne and Wear, England. It is the City of Sunderland's administrative centre and in the historic county of Durham. David Goodwillie
David Goodwillie (born 28 March 1989) is a Scottish professional football player. Goodwillie came through the Dundee United youth system and he won the SPFA and SFWA Young Player of the Year awards for the 2010–11 season. His performances with United earned him selection for the Scotland national team and a £2 million move to Blackburn Rovers, who were then in the English Premier League. He was loaned to Crystal Palace, Dundee United and Blackpool, and released by Blackburn in 2014, after which he signed with Aberdeen. After a loan spell with Ross County, Goodwillie moved to Plymouth Argyle in 2016. He left Plymouth in January 2017. Shrewsbury Town Football Club is a professional association football club based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England. The team competes in League One, the third tier of English football.
