Radamel Falcao GarcÃa Zárate (born 10 February 1986) is a Colombian professional association football, footballer who plays as a forward (association football), forward for La Liga club Rayo Vallecano and often captains the Colombia national football team, Colombia national team. Nicknamed "''El Tigre''" (Spanish for ''The Tiger''), he is considered one of the greatest Colombian footballers of all time. The Colombia national football team ( es, Selección de fútbol de Colombia) represents Colombia in men's international football and is managed by the Colombian Football Federation, the governing body for football in Colombia. Colombia National Under-20 Football Team
The Colombia national under-20 football team represents Colombia in international under-20 football competitions and is overseen by the Colombian Football Federation. The team's most notable performance in the FIFA U-20 World Cup was in 2003, where they achieved third place. For the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup, Colombia qualified automatically as hosts, eventually losing to Mexico in the quarter-finals. The 2012 UEFA Super Cup was the 37th UEFA Super Cup, an annual football match organised by UEFA and contested by the reigning champions of the two main European club competitions, the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League. The Apertura and Clausura system was a single round-robin tournament format used for the Argentine Primera División championships.
