Rad Hourani (born 1982) is a Canadian fashion designer and artist known for his neutral, genderless creations. Career He created his unisex brand ''Rad Hourani'' in 2007 along with a unisex gender-neutral ready-to-wear collection. Two years later, he presented his first photo and video exhibition at the Jardins du Palais-Royal in Paris and continues exhibiting his photographic work around the world, including a film projection at Centre Pompidou in Paris, a solo show in Montreal at the PHI Centre, an interactive installation at Tate Modern in London, as well as different installations at the FIT Museum in New York, MU Art Center in the Netherlands, the Herning Museum of Contemporary Art in Denmark and the Cooper Hewitt Design Museum in New York. Ready-to-wear
Ready-to-wear (or ''prêt-à-porter''; abbreviated RTW; "off-the-rack" or "off-the-peg" in casual use) is the term for ready-made garments, sold in finished condition in standardized sizes, as distinct from made-to-measure or bespoke clothing tailored to a particular person's frame. In other words, It is a piece of clothing that was mass produced in different sizes and sold that way instead of it being designed and sewn for one person. The term ''off-the-peg'' is sometimes used for items other than clothing, such as handbags. Ready-to-wear has a rather different place in the spheres of fashion and classic clothing. The Palais-Royal () is a former royal palace located in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, France. The screened entrance court faces the Place du Palais-Royal, opposite the Louvre. Originally called the Palais-Cardinal, it was built for Cardinal Richelieu from about 1633 to 1639 by the architect Jacques Lemercier. Richelieu bequeathed it to Louis XIII, and Louis XIV gave it to his younger brother, the Duke of Orléans.
