Racing Murcia City 1913 Fútbol Club is a Association football, football club based in Murcia a district in center of Murcia Center, Region of Murcia, Murcia, Spain. Founded on 1 September 2013, it plays in Tercera División RFEF, Tercera División RFEF – Group 13, holding home games at the Estadio Universitario with a capacity of 10,000 History The club was founded on 1 September 2013 under the name of ''DiTT Redmóvil Asociación Deportiva'', being registered in the Football Federation of the Region of Murcia for the 2014–15 season. In 2016, the club was renamed into ''Racing Murcia FC'', after being in the ''Preferente Autonómica''. In 2020, Racing Murcia achieved promotion to Tercera División, while also qualifying for the Copa del Rey for the first time in their history. Manuel López Escámez (born 25 November 1985), commonly known as Manolo, is a Spanish footballer who plays for Racing Murcia FC as a central midfielder. Club career Born in Bullas, Region of Murcia, Manolo graduated from Ciudad de Murcia's youth setup, and made his senior debuts with the reserves, playing several seasons in the regional leagues. In the 2006 summer he was promoted to the main squad, in Segunda División. Royston Ricky Drenthe (born 8 April 1987) is a Dutch footballer who plays for Spanish club Real Murcia. Although primarily a left winger, he has also played as a left-back. Drenthe started his professional career with Eredivisie side Feyenoord in 2005, having graduated from the club's youth academy. He made 37 appearances for the side before switching to La Liga club Real Madrid in 2007.
