Rachid Talbi Alami ( ar, رشيد الطالبي العلمي ; born 1958, Tetouan) is a Morocco, Moroccan politician of the National Rally of Independents party who is the House of Representatives (Morocco), President (Speaker) of the House of Representatives of Morocco]since October 9th, 2021 He was elected representative of Tetouan in 2021 Moroccan general election, the 2021 Moroccan general election. Political career In 2001, during the third National Congress of the National Rally of Independents (RNI), Rachid Talbi Alami was elected member of the central commission of the party. He was Minister of Trade, Industry and Telecommunication in the cabinet of Morocco, cabinet of Driss Jettou from 7 November 2002 to 8 June 2004, and Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister in charge of Economic and General Affairs in the same cabinet, from June 2004 to October 2007. Habib El Malki ( ar, لحبيب المالكي – born 15 April 1946, Boujad) is a Moroccan politician of the Socialist Union of Popular Forces party. He was Minister of Education in the cabinet of Driss Jettou (2002–2007) and Minister of Agriculture in the first cabinet of Abderrahman el-Yousfi (1998–2000). He is a professor of economics at the University of Mohammad V. He is a member of the Academy of the Kingdom of Morocco, and receiver of the "Grande médaille de la francophonie", an award from the Académie Française, which he obtained in 1993. Mohammed V University (, french: Université Mohammed-V de Rabat), in Rabat, Morocco, was founded in 1957 under a royal decree (Moroccan Dahir, Dahir). It is the first modern university in Morocco after the University of al-Qarawiyyin in Fez. History The university was founded in 1957. It is named for Mohammed V of Morocco, Mohammed V, the former King of Morocco who died in 1961. In 1993, it was divided into two independent universities: Mohammed V University at Agdal and Mohammed V University at Souissi. 2021 Moroccan General Election
General elections were held in Morocco on 8 September 2021 to elect 395 members of the House of Representatives. The National Rally of Independents led by Aziz Akhannouch won the most seats (102), a gain of 65 seats from the prior election. The liberal Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) took second place with 87 seats, a net loss of 15 seats. The centre-right Istiqlal Party gained 35 seats and took third place with 81 seats total.
