Rachel Neeson
Rachel Neeson is an Australian architect and lecturer in architecture. Her architecture practice Neeson Murcutt Architects, formed with her late partner Nick Murcutt in 2004, was awarded the Australian Institute of Architects Robin Boyd Award for Residential Architecture – Houses in 2011. Life Neeson studied architecture at the University of Sydney and graduated with the University Medal in 1993. She was awarded the Board of Architects 2002 Byera Hadley Travelling Scholarship and completed a master's degree in architecture in Barcelona, Spain. Neeson Murcutt Architects won the Australian Institute of Architects' New South Wales Wilkinson Award in 2007 and in 2009, and the Robin Boyd Award in 2011. Nick Murcutt
Nicholas Phillip Murcutt (5 June 1964 – 18 March 2011) was an Australian architect. Career Murcutt received his Architecture degree from the University of Sydney in 1989 and became a registered architect in 1990. He worked in several architectural firms including Terry Dorrough, Sydney 1984–1987 and after graduating Forward Consultants, Tasmania 1990–1991. In 1994 he then began work as an architectural tutor at the University of NSW, the University of Technology, Sydney, and the University of Sydney. In 1994, Murcutt worked collaboratively with Neil Durbach and Camilla Block of Durbach Block Architects to form Durbach Block Murcutt, in which they received positive reviews for their amenities blocks for the Sydney Olympics. In 2004, Murcutt along with his partner of 16 years Rachel Neeson began Neeson Murcutt Architects, also known as NMA; a combination of their individual practices. Juanita Nielsen
Juanita Joan Nielsen (; 22 April 1937 – disappeared 4 July 1975) was an Australian homicide victim, who was a newspaper owner, publisher and journalist, a model, businesswoman, urban conservationist, and heiress. She was notable for her advocacy against the urban development on heritage Victoria Street, Kings Cross, Sydney, where she resided at 202and her support for the Builders Labourers' Federation's Green Bans. Nielsen disappeared from the Carousel nightclub in Kings Cross on 4th July 1975. The person/people responsible for her disappearance have never been identified and her remains have never been found. It is generally believed that Nielsen was killed because of her conservationism, and there have been strong suspicions of involvement of organised crime and police corruption.
