Rabie El Kakhi
Rabie Jamil Najib El Kakhi ( ar, ربيع جميل نجيب الكاخي; born 9 August 1984) is a Lebanese football coach and former player. He represented Lebanon internationally as a goalkeeper in both football and futsal. Club career El Kakhi began his career at Safa. He moved to Akhaa Ahli Aley in 2011, simultaneously playing futsal for Sadaka in 2011. He was nominated among the best five futsal goalkeepers for 2011. El Kakhi joined Nejmeh on 23 September 2015, on a five-year contract. On 4 August 2017, El Kakhi moved to Ansar; he returned to Safa on 8 August 2019. On 18 July 2021, El Kakhi announced his retirement. He returned from retirement on 12 February 2022, moving to Safa for a third time. He played eight games in 2021–22 and 15 games in 2022–23. Safa Sporting Club () is a football club based in Wata El Msaytbeh, a district in Beirut, Lebanon, that competes in the . Founded in 1939, they won three league titles, three domestic cups, one Super Cup, and two Elite Cups; they have also reached the 2008 AFC Cup final. Lebanese FA Cup
The Lebanon Cup (), commonly known as the Lebanese FA Cup, is a Lebanese football annual cup competition. The first edition, held in 1937, was won by Nahda. The most successful club in the competition is Ansar with 15 titles, followed by Nejmeh with seven. Ansar have also contested the most finals with 20, followed by Nejmeh with 16. In the first FA Cup final, held on 26 June 1938, Nahda beat Hilmi-Sport 3–2 in the replay (after drawing 1–1 the first match). Format As well as being presented with the trophy, the winning team also qualifies for the AFC Cup. If the winners have already qualified for the AFC Cup via Lebanese Premier League, or are not entitled to play in AFC competitions for any reason, the place goes to the next highest placed finisher in the league table. The Lebanon national football team has used footballers born outside Lebanon throughout its history with varying success. As a result of the dominance of clubs founded by the Armenian diaspora in Lebanon, between the 1940s and 1960s the national team heavily featured Lebanese players of Armenian origin. The established presence of Armenians in the team led the Lebanese Football Association (LFA) to naturalise several Armenian players born in Armenia during the 1990s to play internationally for Lebanon. Most notably, Vardan Ghazaryan was the national team's leading top goalscorer. The Lebanese Super Cup () is Lebanese football's annual match contested between the champions of the previous Lebanese Premier League season and the holders of the Lebanese FA Cup.
