Henri Rol-Tanguy
Henri Rol-Tanguy (12 June 1908 – 8 September 2002) was a French communist and a leader in the French Resistance, Resistance during World War II. At his death ''The New York Times'' called him ''"one of France's most decorated Resistance heroes"''. Biography Henri Tanguy was born on 12 June 1908 in Morlaix, Brittany to a family of a sailor. Aged 14, he moved to Paris to work as a foundryman. In 1925, he joined the Young Communists and ended up as a secretary. He did his military service in 1929 with the 8th ''Régiment de Zouaves'' in Oran, Algeria; on his return, he became an activist with the local metal workers union. At the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War in 1937, Tanguy joined the International Brigades to fight for Second Spanish Republic, Spanish Republic. He was political commissar of the André Marty Battalion (made up of French and Belgian volunteers) which was part of the XIV International Brigade. He was wounded in the Battle of the Ebro in 1938. In combinatorial mathematics, a circular shift is the operation of rearranging the entries in a tuple, either by moving the final entry to the first position, while shifting all other entries to the next position, or by performing the inverse operation. A circular shift is a special kind of cyclic permutation, which in turn is a special kind of permutation. Risk of loss is a term used in the law of contracts to determine which party should bear the burden of risk for damage occurring to goods after the sale has been completed, but before delivery has occurred. Such considerations generally come into play after the contract is formed but before buyer receives goods, something bad happens. Republic of Loose were an Irish funk rock band from Dublin. Formed in 2001, the band formerly consisted of lead vocalist Mick Pyro, bass guitarist and vocalist Benjamin Loose, keyboardist Deco, guitarists and vocalists Dave Pyro and Brez and drummer and percussionist Coz Noelen. With a self-described musical style of "the stuff your dad likes", the band signed to Big Cat Records in 2003, recording their debut album ''This is the Tomb of the Juice'' which was released in 2004. The ''Revue de l'Orient Latin'' is a 12-volume set of medieval documents which was published from 1893–1911. It was a continuation of the ''Archives de l'Orient Latin'', two volumes of which were published from 1881–1884. Various medieval documents and letters from the sets are often cited in scholarly works about the Crusades. The ''Revue'' is often abbreviated ''ROL'' and the "Archives" are abbreviated ''AOL'', but often the two groups of documents are referred to together. The ''Archives'' were published in Paris.
