Riva was a Croatian pop band formed in Zadar in 1986. After forming in 1986, the band appeared on Zagrebfest 1988, Performing with the song “Zadnja Suza” (“Last Tear in Croatian). Their song " Rock Me" won the Eurovision Song Contest 1989 in Switzerland, with a score of 137 points. Riva Records
Riva Records was a British record label founded the UK in 1975 by Billy Gaff, manager of Rod Stewart. Rod Stewart signed to the label in the UK, but stayed with Warner Bros. Records in the US and the rest of the world. Another well-known artist on the label was John Cougar Mellencamp, distributed by PolyGram in the US, and WEA in most other countries. After Stewart and Mellencamp left the label, it stopped operating. Billy died in Dublin 25th April 2022. Stewart left in 1982 (last issue "How Long"), whereas Mellencamp stayed a little later. A variety of acts then had singles released on Riva in the UK (see below); the last known UK release was RIVA 51 (Glory with "Hearts Will Sing" / "As It Is") in 1987. Riva (also called Çayağzı) is a village, administratively a neighborhood, in Beykoz intracity district of Istanbul Province, Turkey. This place is the filming location of the Turkish TV show hit called '' Diriliş: Ertuğrul'' and its sequel '' Kuruluş: Osman''. It is a coastal village in the Anatolian part of Greater Istanbul, situated between Anadolu Feneri and Şile. Riva is a census-designated place (CDP) in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, United States. The population was 4,076 at the 2010 census.
