Restricted Boltzmann Machine
A restricted Boltzmann machine (RBM) is a generative stochastic artificial neural network that can learn a probability distribution over its set of inputs. RBMs were initially invented under the name Harmonium by Paul Smolensky in 1986, and rose to prominence after Geoffrey Hinton and collaborators invented fast learning algorithms for them in the mid-2000. RBMs have found applications in dimensionality reduction, classification, collaborative filtering, feature learning, topic modellingRuslan Salakhutdinov and Geoffrey Hinton (2010)Replicated softmax: an undirected topic model ''Neural Information Processing Systems'' 23. and even many body quantum mechanics. They can be trained in either supervised or unsupervised ways, depending on the task. As their name implies, RBMs are a variant of Boltzmann machines, with the restriction that their neurons must form a bipartite graph: a pair of nodes from each of the two groups of units (commonly referred to as the "visible" and "hid ... Réseau Des Bains De Mer
The Réseau des Bains de Mer (RBM) was a group of five metre gauge railways centred on Noyelles-sur-Mer, with a total route length of some . It was a part of the ''Chemins de fer départementaux de la Somme''. Three of the lines are still open as the Chemin de Fer de la Baie de Somme heritage line, and are dealt with under that article. This article covers the other two lines, now closed. All the lines were in the Somme department. The five lines were:- * Noyelles - Le Crotoy (opened 1 June 1887). * Noyelles - St. Valery sur Somme (opened 5 June 1858 tandard gauge/nowiki>, 6 September 1887 ual gauge). * St. Valery sur Somme - Cayeux sur Mer (opened 6 September 1887). * Noyelles - Forest-l'Abbaye (opened 24 August 1892, closed 10 March 1947 assengers/ 1 February 1951 reight/nowiki> ). * Abbeville - Dompierre-sur-Authie (opened 19 June 1892, closed 10 March 1947 bbeville - Forest-l'Abbaye and Crécy Estrées - Dompierre sur Authie, also to passengers between Crécy Estr ... Racing Bart Mampaey
Racing Bart Mampaey (formerly Juma Racing) is a racing team based in Mechelen, Belgium that runs the BMW Team RBM operation in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters. Previously the team had been racing in the European Touring Car Championship and World Touring Car Championship. History The team was formed as Juma Racing in 1974 by Julien Mampaey, the father of current team principal Bart Mampaey. Among their achievements were three wins with BMW in the Spa 24 Hours, in 1977, 1982 and 1983. Bart Mampaey went on to create his own RBM team in 1994 which started competing in the BMW Compact Cup. They finished first and second in the Group N Spa 24 Hours in 1997, and ran the BMW Fina Bastos Team to overall victory in 1998, with Marc Duez, Eric van de Poele and Alain Cudini. European Touring Car Championship Team RBM started racing in the European Touring Car Championship in 2002, fielding a BMW 320i for Swede Fredrik Ekblom under the name BMW Team Belgium, who scored three podiums and ... World Touring Car Championship
The FIA World Touring Car Championship was an international touring car championship promoted by Eurosport Events and sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). It has had several different incarnations, including a single season in 1987 as the World Touring Car Championship and most recently a world championship (WTCC) that has run between 2005 and 2017. Following the 2017 season, an agreement was reached for the FIA WTCC to become FIA WTCR and use the TCR technical regulations. History First season The first World Touring Car Championship, which was open to Group A Touring Cars, was held in 1987 concurrent to the long-running European Touring Car Championship (ETCC). Additional rounds were held outside Europe at Bathurst and Calder Park Raceway in Australia (Calder used a combined circuit of the road course and the then newly constructed NASCAR speedway), Wellington in New Zealand and Mount Fuji in Japan. The Championship was well-supported by t ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

Richards Bay Minerals
Richards Bay Minerals (RBM) is a South African mining company. RBM's principal product is titanium dioxide in the form of an 85% pure titanium dioxide slag; the company also produces the higher-purity 95% titanium dioxide product rutile as well as pig iron and zircon. The company's principal operations are just north of Richards Bay in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, in a 2-kilometer wide by 17-kilometer long strip of mineral-rich sand dunes. The area is known as Zulti North mine lease area and will continue to be mined until 2030. RBM mines the using a dredge mining technique, extracting the titanium-iron ore ilmenite as well as rutile and zircon from the sand. This feedstock is then processed into RBM's product lines at a facility which sorts the various materials and processes them to varying degrees into marketable materials. RBM is controlled by Rio Tinto which owns 74% of it. Blue Horizon Investments (24%) and RBM permanent employees (2%) also have an interest in the mine. ... Reflected Brownian Motion
In probability theory, reflected Brownian motion (or regulated Brownian motion, both with the acronym RBM) is a Wiener process in a space with reflecting boundaries. In the physical literature, this process describes diffusion in a confined space and it is often called confined Brownian motion. For example it can describe the motion of hard spheres in water confined between two walls. RBMs have been shown to describe queueing models experiencing heavy traffic as first proposed by Kingman and proven by Iglehart and Whitt. Definition A ''d''–dimensional reflected Brownian motion ''Z'' is a stochastic process on \mathbb R^d_+ uniquely defined by * a ''d''–dimensional drift vector ''μ'' * a ''d''×''d'' non-singular covariance matrix ''Σ'' and * a ''d''×''d'' reflection matrix ''R''. where ''X''(''t'') is an unconstrained Brownian motion and ::Z(t) = X(t) + R Y(t) with ''Y''(''t'') a ''d''–dimensional vector where * ''Y'' is continuous and non–decreasing with ''Y' ... Business Support System
Business support systems (BSS) are the components that a telecommunications service provider (or telco) uses to run its business operations towards customers. Together with operations support systems (OSS), they are used to support various end-to-end telecommunication services (e.g., telephone services). BSS and OSS have their own data and service responsibilities. The two systems together are abbreviated in various ways, such as OSS/BSS, BSS/OSS, B/OSS, BSSOSS, OSSBSS or BOSS. Some commentators and analysts take a network-up approach to these systems (hence OSS/BSS) and others take a business-down approach (hence BSS/OSS). The initialism BSS is also used in a singular form to refer to all the business support systems, viewed as a whole system. Role BSS deals with the taking of orders, payment issues, revenues, etc. It supports four processes: product management, order management, revenue management and customer management. Product management Product management supports produc ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |
