R37 Road (South Africa)
The R37 is a provincial route in South Africa that connects Polokwane with Nelspruit (Mbombela) via Burgersfort and Lydenburg. Route The R37 begins in Polokwane Central (Capital of Limpopo), at a junction with the two one-way streets that form the R101 Route (Grober Street & Thabo Mbeki Street), just west of the R101's intersection with the R71 Route. It begins by going southwards as Kerk Street to form a junction with the Polokwane Eastern Bypass ( N1 National Route) and become the western border of the Polokwane Game Reserve. The R37 heads southwards for 30 kilometres as the Chuniespoort Pass to meet the northern terminus of the R579 Road. At this junction, it turns to the south-east and proceeds for 7 kilometres to meet the eastern terminus of the R518 Road north of Lebowakgomo. R518 Road (South Africa)
The R518 is a Regional Route in South Africa that connects Lephalale with Zebediela via Mokopane. Route Its western terminus is an intersection with the R510 at Lephalale (Ellisras). It goes east for 69 kilometres to meet the southern terminus of the R561 at the village of Marken and turn southwards. The R518 continues south, then south-east, for 103 kilometres to meet the N11 National Route and enter the town of Mokopane. The R518 and the N11 become one road south-east into the city centre. In the city centre of Mokopane, the R518 and the N11 meet the R101 and all 3 routes are co-signed on the road southwards (Thabo Mbeki Drive). At the 2nd junction afterwards, by Mokopane Mall, the R518 leaves Thabo Mbeki Drive (which remains designated as the R101 & N11) and becomes its own road south-east. Lebowakgomo
Lebowakgomo is the seat of the Lepelle-Nkumpi Local Municipality and was the capital of the former Bantustan of Lebowa. Lebowakgomo lies 45 km southeast of the Limpopo capital of Polokwane. The majority of Lebowakgomo's inhabitants speak SePedi. History The township was established in the early 1970s to become the capital of Lebowa, and was enlarged and developed in the 1980s. The name is derived from two Northern Sotho words ''Lebowa'' ("north") and ''Kgomo'' ("cow"). The land where Lebowakgomo is located was donated to the former Lebowa Government by Chief Mmutle Mphahlele of the ''Bakgaga ba gaMphahlele''. The chief's palace lies 10 km southeast of the township in Seleteng village. Jane Furse is a town in the Sekhukhune District Municipality of the Limpopo province in South Africa, surrounded by the villages of Ga-Moretsele, Madibong, Marulaneng, Mamone, Mokwete and Riverside. The R33 is a provincial route in South Africa that connects Pietermaritzburg with Lephalale via Greytown, Paulpietersburg, Carolina, Belfast and Vaalwater.
