Pudimoe or Pudumong is a town in Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati District Municipality in the North West province of South Africa. The town is located about north of Taung and south-west of Schweizer-Reneke. The name, derived from the Tswana language, means “place of wildebeest Wildebeest ( , , ), also called gnu ( or ), are antelopes of the genus ''Connochaetes'' and native to Eastern and Southern Africa. R34 Road (South Africa)
The R34 is a long provincial route in South Africa that connects Vryburg with Richards Bay via Kroonstad and Newcastle. It passes through three provinces, North West, the Free State and KwaZulu-Natal. Route North West The R34 begins a few kilometres east of the town of Vryburg, North West at a t-junction with the N14 National Route, which is the main road into the town. The R34 starts by going south-east for 60 kilometres to the town of Schweizer-Reneke. In the town centre, it meets the R506 Road and the R504 Route at a 4-way junction with Schweizer Street. The R506 joins the R34 to be co-signed southwards. They are one road for 2.5 kilometres, crossing the Harts River before the R506 becomes its own road south-west. The R59 is a provincial route in South Africa that connects Hertzogville with Alberton (south-east of Johannesburg) via Bothaville, Parys and Vereeniging. The R59 is a freeway from the R57 Junction in Sasolburg until the Alberton N12 Reading Interchange, signposted as the Sybrand van Niekerk Freeway. Route Free State The R59 begins at a t-junction with the R64 about 18 kilometres west of Dealesville. It heads north for 61 kilometres to the town of Hertzogville, where it meets the R708 at a t-junction next to the Palmietpan and they become co-signed northwards. North of the town, the R59 becomes its own road north-east, heading for 50 kilometres to Hoopstad where on the southerly outskirts, before the Vet River, it meets the northern terminus of the R700 at a t-junction and turns northwards. R30 Road (South Africa)
The R30 is a provincial route in South Africa that connects Bloemfontein with Rustenburg via Brandfort, Welkom, Bothaville, Klerksdorp and Ventersdorp. The southern part of the route is tolled, as the R30 forms the first section of the ZR Mahabane Toll Route, with the Brandfort Toll Plaza found 10 kilometres north of its Southern junction with the N1 National Route. The tolled portion ends at the junction with the R730. Vaal River
The Vaal River ( ; Khoemana: ) is the largest tributary of the Orange River in South Africa. The river has its source near Breyten in Mpumalanga province, east of Johannesburg and about north of Ermelo and only about from the Indian Ocean. It then flows westwards to its conjunction with the Orange River southwest of Kimberley in the Northern Cape. It is long, and forms the border between Mpumalanga, Gauteng and North West Province on its north bank, and the Free State on its south. N12 Road (South Africa)
The N12 is a national route in South Africa which runs from George through Beaufort West, Kimberley, Klerksdorp and Johannesburg to Witbank, eMalahleni. It is the only other National Route after the N1 (South Africa), N1 Route that connects the Western Cape Province with the Gauteng Province. Prior to 1971, the N12 from Johannesburg to Three Sisters, Northern Cape, Three Sisters was known as the N13. Route Summary The road starts in George in the Western Cape and ends in Witbank, eMalahleni in Mpumalanga. The road runs roughly from south to north, however, once it passes Kimberley in the Northern Cape, it gradually turns eastward. Only the section between Soweto and Witbank, eMalahleni is a limited access dual motorway. The R505 is a Regional Route in South Africa. It connects Ottoshoop, North West Province in the north with Wesselsbron, Free State Province to the south. Route North West Its northern terminus is a junction with the R49 in the village of Ottoshoop, North West. From there it runs southwards for 50 km, past Bakerville, to Lichtenburg, where it reaches a junction with the R503 (Swart Street). The R505 joins the R503 and they are one road into the town centre as Swart Street eastwards, then as Nelson Mandela Drive southwards, to meet the R52 at the Gerrit Maritz Street junction. North West (South African Province)
North West is a province of South Africa. Its capital is Mahikeng. The province is located to the west of the major population centre of Gauteng and south of Botswana. History North West was incorporated after the end of Apartheid in 1994, and includes parts of the former Transvaal Province and Cape Province, as well as most of the former bantustan of Bophuthatswana. It was the scene of political violence in Khutsong, Merafong City Local Municipality in 2006 and 2007, after cross-province municipalities were abolished and Merafong Municipality was transferred entirely to North West.
