R. Vengadasalam
R. Vengadasalam, commonly known as Venga, is a Singaporean football official who is the founder and current president of Woodlands Lions FC, a youth-developmental football club and associate member of the FAS, since the club's inception in 2018. A veteran in the Singapore football scene, Venga is mostly remembered for his time as an official in the S.League (now known as the Singapore Premier League) between 1996 and 2010, managing Woodlands Wellington between 1996 and 2004, and Tampines Rovers between 2004 and 2010. When he was the team manager of Gymkhana FC in the National Football League in 2016, Venga made headlines for attempting to assemble a team to contest in the watershed FAS elections before making a dramatic turn and switching to campaign for the team of incumbents led by Lim Kia Tong during the lead-up to election day, where the elections were eventually won by Lim and his team, which consisted of heavyweights such as Teo Hock Seng and S. Woodlands Wellington Football Club is an inactive professional football club which played in the S.League, the top division of football in Singapore. They are based in Woodlands at the 4,300 seater Woodlands Stadium, where they have played since their establishment. Woodlands Wellington FC's honours include winning the inaugural Singapore League Cup in 2007, defeating Sengkang Punggol FC 4–0 in the final. They also finished runners-up in the Singapore FA Cup in 1997, and also in the Singapore Cup in 2005 and 2008 and won the President's Centennial Cup in 1998, a cup competition organized by the Philippine Football Federation to celebrate the centennial of Philippine Independence by defeating Hong Kong Rangers FC 2–1 in the final in Bacolod. The Malaysia Super League ( ms, Liga Super Malaysia) is the men's top professional football division of the Malaysian football league system. Ervin Boban
Ervin Boban (born 17 March 1965 in Split) is a former Croatian professional football player, who is currently a coach for feeder club Johor Darul Ta'zim II. He started his career in professional football and coaching in his home town club, RNK Split. Boban was one of Malaysia's top foreign footballers from the late 1980s through the 1990s. He is remembered as a living legend by local football fans. He was first introduced to Malaysian football in 1989. Tuberculosis
Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease usually caused by '' Mycobacterium tuberculosis'' (MTB) bacteria. Tuberculosis generally affects the lungs, but it can also affect other parts of the body. Most infections show no symptoms, in which case it is known as latent tuberculosis. Around 10% of latent infections progress to active disease which, if left untreated, kill about half of those affected. Tanjong Pagar United Football Club is a professional football club that competes in the Singapore Premier League, the top division of football in Singapore. Woodlands () is a planning area and residential town located in the North of Singapore. As of 2019, the town has a population of 254,733. Seletar Football Club
Seletar is an area located in the north-east of Singapore. Its name can also refer to the Seletar Planning Area (as defined by the Urban Redevelopment Authority), situated in the North-East Region of Singapore. The place name was derived from the Malay subgroup who were indigenous to the area, the ''Orang Seletar''. It shares boundaries with the planning areas of Sengkang to the south, Punggol to the east, Yishun and Simpang to the west, as well as the Straits of Johor to the north.
