R. V. Janakiraman
R. V. Janakiraman (8 January 1941 – 10 June 2019) was the Chief Minister of the Union Territory of Pondicherry. Political career He was elected from Nellithope assembly constituency for five consecutive terms starting from 1985, 1990, 1991, 1996, and 2001. He lost the polls to All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam candidate Om Sakthi Sekar in 2006 owing to his health ailments (Parkinson's). He served as Chief Minister of the Union Territory of Pondicherry from 26 May 1996 to 18 March 2000 and headed the coalition government of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam and the Tamil Maanila Congress. Villianur, or Villianour, is a town in the Union Territory of Puducherry, India. It is a commune panchayat and the headquarters of the Villianur taluk of Puducherry District. The chief minister of Puducherry is the chief executive of the Indian union territory of Puducherry. In accordance with the Constitution of India, the lieutenant governor is a union territory's ''de jure'' head, but ''de facto'' executive authority rests with the chief minister. Following elections to the Puducherry Legislative Assembly, the union territory's governor usually invites the party (or coalition) with a majority of seats to form the government. A Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) is a representative elected by the voters of an electoral district (constituency) to the legislature of State government in the Indian system of government. From each constituency, the people elect one representative who then becomes a member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA). Each state has between seven and nine MLAs for every Member of Parliament (MP) that it has in the Lok Sabha, the lower house of India's bicameral parliament. The Tamil Maanila Congress (Moopanar) (; TMC(M)) is an Indian regional political party in the state of Tamil Nadu. It is founded by the former Member of Parliament of the Republic of India G. K. Parkinson's
Parkinson's disease (PD), or simply Parkinson's, is a long-term degenerative disorder of the central nervous system that mainly affects the motor system. The symptoms usually emerge slowly, and as the disease worsens, non-motor symptoms become more common.
