Ryaga Krishnaiah (born 13 September 1954), known as R. Krishnaiah, is current Member of Parliament from Rajya Sabha of YSR Congress Party from 2022. Krishnaiah was elected as MLA representing L.B. Nagar constituency in 2014 from Telugu Desam Party. Devireddy Sudheer Reddy (born 27 July 1962) is an Indian politician elected to Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly in 2009 and Telangana Legislative Assembly in 2018 for the Lal Bahadur Nagar constituency. Reddy won the seat against Mudda Ram Mohan Goud of BRS by 17,848 votes, with the former polling 113,980 votes and the latter 96,132. Previously, he served as the Chairman of the Hyderabad Urban Development Authority from 2004 to 2008. Backward Classes
The Other Backward Class is a collective term used by the Government of India to classify castes which are educationally or socially backward. It is one of several official classifications of the population of India, along with General castes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (SCs and STs). The OBCs were found to comprise 52% of the country's population by the Mandal Commission report of 1980, and were determined to be 41% in 2006 when the National Sample Survey Organisation took place. The Telugu Desam Party (; TDP) is an Indian regional political party operating in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana at the state and central level. Since its founding by N. T.
