R. Hyrum Savage
R. Hyrum Savage is an RPG designer and brand manager whose design credits include ''Diomin'' and '' Forbidden Kingdoms''. Career Hyrum has worked for Disney Interactive, FreePC, and eMachines. Savage started the California-based OtherWorld Creations (OWC) with Dave Webb, as one of the many publishers that got started in role-playing games to publish material for the D20 System. The company began publication with ''Diomin'' (2000), which had originally been designed for '' GURPS'' but the availability of d20 licensing persuaded Savage and friends Chad Cunningham and Chris Miller to convert the setting to d20 instead. Savage was also one of the creators behind '' Forbidden Kingdoms''. In 2004 Savage went to work for Upper Deck Entertainment, when production for OtherWorld Creations stopped because both their distributor Wizard's Attic and the d20 market collapsed. Wizard's Attic was an American role-playing game wholesaler and fulfillment house servicing small publishers. It was collapsed in 2004. History Wizard's Attic was formed in order to act as a fulfillment house for Chaosium. Aldo Ghiozzi's Wingnut Games was one of Wizard's Attic's consolidation clients, and in 2002, Wizard's Attic's business was starting to falter and clients like Ghiozzi were starting to see their payments dry up. Just as Wizard's Attic was trying to get out of the consolidation business, Ghiozzi decided to move his small company Impressions Advertising & Marketing into the field. Vs. System (short for Versus System), also written as VS System and abbreviated as VS, is a collectible card game designed by Upper Deck Entertainment (UDE). In the game, players build and play a deck of Vs. System cards in an attempt to win a game against their opponent. It was first published in 2004 and is set in the superhero genre. The game was discontinued by Upper Deck Entertainment in January 2009.
