''R.A.W'' is the second studio album by rapper Daz Dillinger. It was released on August 29, 2000 through D.P.G. Recordz, making it his first album to be released under the label. Background It was originally meant to be a Death Row Records release, but Daz took away the reels from Suge Knight, who was in jail at the time. After his return from prison, he got the reels back and put some of the songs from the album on Tha Dogg Pound compilation 2002, as well as "Baccstabbers" being on Mark Morrison's second studio album Innocent Man, a then-unreleased album by Death Row Records. Daz Dillinger
Delmar Drew Arnaud (born May 25, 1973), known professionally as Daz Dillinger (formerly Dat Nigga Daz and commonly Daz), is an American rapper and record producer. In the 1990s at Death Row Records, aided the catapult of West Coast rap and gangsta rap into the mainstream. He is one half of the rap duo tha Dogg Pound, along with Kurupt. Daz learned production from Dr. Dre in working on Dre's debut solo album, ''The Chronic'', in 1992. Daz did more on Snoop Dogg's debut solo album ''Doggystyle'' in 1993, and secured his production standing on 2Pac's ''All Eyez on Me'' in 1996. Since leaving Death Row around 2000, Daz has focused on his own releases through his D.P.G. Recordz. Tracy Lamar Davis (born April 27, 1966), better known by his stage name Big Tray Deee (formerly Tray Deee and Tracy Deee), is an American rapper signed with Snoop Dogg's label Dogghouse Records. Career Before becoming a rapper, Davis was an active gang member. Tray Deee is a member of the Insane Crips Gang in Long Beach, California. Tray Deee made his first appearance on Snoop Doggy Dogg's Murder Was the Case soundtrack in 1994, guest starring on the track "21 Jumpstreet", Tray Dee also featured on the song Reality off the Doggfood album in 1995, followed by an appearance on Tha Doggfather in 1996. ''Retaliation, Revenge and Get Back'' is the debut studio album by American rapper Daz Dillinger, released on March 31, 1998 through Death Row Records and Priority Records. The promotional singles released from the album were "In California" and "It Might Sound Crazy", which both also had music videos, including an animated one. Background By 1998, Daz Dillinger was one of the last remaining artists on Death Row after its decline in 1996 after the death of 2Pac, and the departure of Dr. Dre. Daz was the head of Death Row while Suge Knight was imprisoned for violating his parole, caused by a fight he, 2Pac, and fellow Death Row members got into with Orlando Anderson in Las Vegas on Sept 7th. Don't Go 2 Sleep
''Don't Go 2 Sleep'' is a compilation EP by American rappers Makaveli and Daz Dillinger. It has eight tracks. There are two other (bootleg) versions of the EP, but the original has only eight tracks. It was released December 24, 2001, on D.P.G. Recordz. The tracks were recorded at Death Row Records between 1995–96 for Tupac's and Boot Camp Clik's project "One Nation". Later when Daz left Death Row, he stole an unknown amount of Tupac's unreleased masters, some of which can be heard on this EP. The only track left untouched by Daz is "They Don't Give a Fuck About Us", all other tracks were remixed and Daz also added himself onto tracks he originally didn't appear on, despite Dillinger marketing the EP as an original collaboration album. The chart debuted as Hot R&B LPs in the issue dated January 30, 1965 in an effort by the magazine to further expand into the field of rhythm and blues music. Funk Mobb was an American, short lived rap group composed of Bay Area rappers, K-1, G-Note and Mac Shawn who were signed by Sick Wid It and Jive Records. They were only active from 1994 to 1998, first appearing on Little Bruce's debut album, XXXtra Mannish and then releasing their one and only album in 1996, ''It Ain't 4 Play''. It peaked at number 46 on the ''Billboard'' Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and at number 28 on the ''Billboard'' Top Heatseekers. After the album the group would disband with Mac Shawn releasing two albums, 1997's ''Music fo' the Mobb'' and 2001's ''Worldwide Bosses and Playas'' and even joining Death Row Records for a short while. Priest Joseph Brooks, (known professionally as Soopafly born December 8, 1972) is a hip hop producer and rapper from Long Beach, California. He is a member of the DPGC. Early life The oldest of three children, Brooks grew up in Long Beach. He was given a keyboard by his father after being inspired by the piano players he saw in church. ''Innocent Man'' is the second studio album by British hip hop and R&B recording artist Mark Morrison, and released in the UK with a limited edition DVD release. It's Morrison's second full-length studio album and first since ''Return of the Mack'' in 1996. The album was originally slated for an 29 April 2002 release on Death Row Records with promotional copies and album samplers of the project being released, however the album was shelved due to label conflicts. In December 2004, Morrison attempted to release the album through his then-label 2 Wikid Records, but this did not happen as the project was again put on hold due to the label owner having disagreements with Morrison. The project was set for an April 2005 release, but it was again pushed back until 2006 when it was finally released on his own independent record label. The album subsequently failed to chart.
