R. Surendran
R. Surendren (born on 26 October 1982) in Taiping, Perak is a Malaysia footballer. He is a former member of the Malaysian national team. He has more than 20 years of experience in football industry with a coaching certificate of AFC ‘C’ License. Career R. Surendren started his career as a junior football player in 1996 with a bronze medal in Perak Coca-cola Cup U-16 with his team. In 1998, he participated in Perak MSSM U-18 & Perak MILO Cup U-18 with his teammate. In 1999, he played with Perak TKN Football Club and joined FAM Cup. Then, he participated in Malay Mail Malaysia Premier League in year 2000 to 2001. R. Surendren started his senior career when he represented Perak from 2002 until 2007 and had participated in finals of Malaysia Cup, FA Cup and Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Cup, quarter finals of AFC Cup and won gold medal in Sukma Sabah (2002). Taiping, Perak
Taiping (, Jawi: ; zh, t=太平, , Hokkien: Thài-pêng; ta, தைப்பிங்) is a town located in Larut, Matang and Selama District, Perak, Malaysia. It is located approximately northwest of Ipoh, the capital of Perak, and southeast of George Town, Penang. With a population of 245,182 (in 2013), it is the second largest town in Perak after Ipoh, the state capital. Taiping took over Kuala Kangsar's role as the state capital from 1876 to 1937, but was then replaced by Ipoh. Its growth slowed after that, but in recent years the town has been developing rapidly again. Perak State Museum is located in the town. AFC Cup
The AFC Cup is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The Malaysia Super League ( ms, Liga Super Malaysia) is the men's top professional football division of the Malaysian football league system. Administered by the Football Malaysia Limited Liability Partnership (FMLLP), now known as the Malaysian Football League (MFL), the Malaysia Super League is contested by twelve teams that operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Malaysia Premier League, with the two lowest-placed teams relegated and replaced by the promoted top two teams in that division. The Malaysia FA Cup ( ms, Piala FA) is an annual national knock-out football tournament in Malaysia. The cup was first held in 1990. The competition was previously managed by Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), before being transferred to Football Malaysia LLP (MFL) (now known as Malaysian Football League) in the 2016 season. The cup is contested among the clubs from the Malaysia Super League, Malaysia Premier League, Malaysia M3 League and Malaysia M4 League. The preliminary and first rounds are played between the clubs that qualified from the M3 and M4 League. The winners advance to the second round and join the rest of the clubs. The Malaysia Premier League ( ms, Liga Premier) was the second-tier professional Association football, football league in Malaysia. The league replaced the former second-tier league, Liga Perdana 2 in the Malaysian football league system. The Malaysia Premier League was contested by 12 clubs where the season usually ran from early February to late October, with a Ramadan break for a month depending on the Islamic calendar. The 2002 Hassanal Bolkiah Trophy is the first edition of the invitational tournament hosted by Brunei. The tournament take place in Brunei from 16 to 26 August 2002. Allan Harris
Allan Harris (28 December 1942 – 23 November 2017) was a footballer who played for Chelsea, Coventry City and Queens Park Rangers. His brother Ron was also a professional footballer. Harris was a full-back and began his career with Chelsea, for whom he played 70 league games in his first stint with the club. He joined Coventry in 1964, spending two years there, before briefly returning to Chelsea again, where he played in their 1967 FA Cup final loss to Tottenham Hotspur. He moved to Queens Park Rangers as a replacement for Jim Langley in 1967, and made his debut in August that year against Portsmouth. Harris was a member of the 1967–68 side that won promotion to the First Division for the first time in the club's history. He played 94 league games for QPR before transferring to Plymouth Argyle in 1971, and later played for Cambridge United.
