2002 Hassanal Bolkiah Trophy
The 2002 Hassanal Bolkiah Trophy is the first edition of the invitational tournament hosted by Brunei. The tournament take place in Brunei from 16 to 26 August 2002. Ten teams from the ASEAN Football Federation participate in the tournament for under the age of 22. Indonesia emerged as the champion after beating Thailand by 2–0 in the final, while both Myanmar and Malaysia shared the third place. Bandar Seri Begawan
Bandar Seri Begawan (BSB; Jawi: بندر سري بڬاوان; ) is the capital city of Brunei. It is officially a municipal area () with an area of and an estimated population of 100,700 as of 2007. It is part of Brunei-Muara District, the smallest yet most populous district which is home to over 70 per cent of the country's population. Yan Paing ( my, ရန်ပိုင်) born 27 November 1983 in Yangon) is a Burmese footballer who plays for the Myanmar national football team. He also plays with Yadanarbon in Myanmar National League. Yan Paing is a key striker for the Myanmar National Team and Yadanarbon FC. He became a popular player playing with former club Finance & Revenue FC. Soe Myat Min
U Soe Myat Min ( my, စိုးမြတ်မင်း, ; born 19 May 1982) is a former Burmese footballer. He played for the Myanmar national team and spent the majority of his club career at Kanbawza. Making his debut for the national team since 1998, he was made captain for the 2002 Tiger Cup. Soe Myat Min also played a key role for Myanmar at the Tiger Cup, helping them qualify for the semi-finals. He himself finished the tournament as joint second top scorer of the tournament with six goals and was included in the tournament's best XI. He also helped Myanmar win their fourth Merdeka Cup Championship in 2006 and was named Most Valuable Player of the tournament. Mohd Fadzli Saari
Mohd Fadzli Saari (born 1 January 1983) is a Malaysian former footballer who is an assistant coach for Perlis Northern Lions U19 . He was a member of the Malaysia national football team. Career Fadzli is one of the Malaysian footballers who was given a chance to play outside Malaysia. Together with another Malaysian player, Rudie Ramli he chose to play with a German club SV Wehen in 2001. In 2004, he won the Malaysia Super League with Pahang.
