R. Narayana Murthy
R. Narayana Murthy (born 31 December 1954), also known as People's Star, is an Indian actor, screenwriter, director, composer, singer, and producer. He works predominantly in Telugu Cinema. He received Nandi Special Jury Award for his film ''Dandora'' (1993). Murthy produces most of his films under the banner Sneha Chitra Pictures. He is known for left-oriented films that deal with the exploitation of society's lower strata. His films adopt themes like the atrocities of the upper classes against the helpless. His films address contemporary social problems such as unemployment, crony capitalism, problems in developing countries, environmental issues, dams and rehabilitation problems, land issues, political turmoil, etc. He starred in films such as ''Ardharatri Swaatantryam, Adavi Diviteelu, Laal Salaam, Dandora, ''Erra Sainyam'', Cheemala Dandu, Dalam, Cheekati Suryudu, Ooru Manadiraa'' and ''Vegu Chukkalu''. Dasari Narayana Rao (4 May 1947 – 30 May 2017) was an Indian film director, producer, screenwriter, actor, lyricist, and politician known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema, in addition to Hindi cinema. He has directed more than 150 feature films in a variety of genres. He holds the '' Limca World Record'' for directing the most number of films in the world. He is known by the moniker ''Darsaka Ratna'' (). His works emphasize social injustice, corruption and gender discrimination. ''Vooru Manadiraa'' is a 2002 Indian Telugu-language revolutionary film directed by R. Narayana Murthy starring himself, Siddappa Naidu and Telangana Sakunthala. The film's title is based on a song from ''Erra Sainyam'' (1994). The film was released to positive reviews. East Godavari District
East Godavari is a district in the Coastal Andhra region of Andhra Pradesh, India. Its district headquarters is at Rajahmundry. As of census 2011, it became the most populous district of the state with a population of 5,151,549. In the Madras Presidency, the District of Rajahmundry was created in 1823.
