Quitman High School (Arkansas)
Quitman High School is a comprehensive public junior/senior high school for grades seven through twelve serving the community of Quitman, Arkansas, United States. Quitman High School is the only high school managed in rural Cleburne County by the Quitman School District. Academics The assumed course of study follows the Smart Core curriculum developed by the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE). Students complete regular (core and career focus) courses and exams and may select Advanced Placement (AP) coursework and exams with the opportunity for college credit. Quitman is associated with the Conway Area Career Center to support the students' career and technical education needs. Advanced Placement (AP) is a program in the United States and Canada created by the College Board which offers college-level curricula and examinations to high school students. The Arkansas Activities Association (AAA) is the primary sanctioning body for high school sports in state of Arkansas. AAA is a member association of the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFSHSA). Conway High School is a comprehensive public school in Conway, Arkansas, United States. Conway High School serves over 2,000 students and is administered by the Conway School District. The school has been nationally recognized as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, and has won 50 state championships in numerous interscholastic sports.
