Quinnel Brown
Quinnel Levar Brown (born August 26, 1983) is an American professional basketball player for the Windsor Express of the National Basketball League of Canada (NBL). He primarily plays the forward position, but has been known to even guard small forwards and shooting guards. Brown has experience in multiple minor league basketball leagues in North America and has also competed with several different teams around Europe. He also has played in Uruguay, Venezuela and Argentina. Brown played multiple seasons in the NBL Canada for the Quebec Kebs, Halifax Rainmen, and Express. In the league, he has earned three All-League selections and the Most Valuable Player Award. Mississauga Power
The Mississauga Power were a Canadian professional basketball team based in Mississauga, Ontario, that competed in the National Basketball League of Canada (NBL). Established in as the Oshawa Power, they played in the Central Division. The Oshawa team began play in the inaugural NBL Canada season, along with the London Lightning, Moncton Miracles, and Summerside Storm and three Premier Basketball League (PBL) teams. The Power were relatively unsuccessful in their four years of existence. They had a losing record every season and a combined record of 17–55 since relocating to Mississauga. The team also had six different coaches during the span. In 2012, Oshawa's Brandon Robinson led the league in scoring and was named Rookie of the Year. Edmonton Energy
The Edmonton Energy is a professional basketball team in the International Basketball League, formerly known as the Edmonton Chill. The Chill name was revoked in August 2008, after allegations of misconduct were filed with the league regarding Troy Barns, the majority shareholder in the team. On 27 January 2009, The Edmonton Chill were renamed the Edmonton Energy. Eleven local business owners, led by businessman, chartered accountant, and mayoral candidate David Dorward came together to keep the IBL in Edmonton. Quebec Kebs
The Quebec Kebs (french: Kebs de Quebec) were a professional basketball team located in Laval, Quebec, formerly based in Quebec City, Quebec. The Kebs were part of the National Basketball League of Canada. They also played in the Atlantic Division of the Premier Basketball League. Minor leagues are professional sports leagues which are not regarded as the premier leagues in those sports. Basketligan
Svenska Basketligan, or the Swedish Basketball League (SBL), is the premier league for professional basketball in Sweden. The league was originally established in 1992 as Basketligan and was known as that prior to the season of 2006–07, but when the Swedish company Obol Investment signed an agreement with the Swedish Basketball Federation in early October 2006, the league was renamed Obol Basketball League (OBL).
