Quincy Williams
Quincy Williams (born August 28, 1996) is an American football linebacker for the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Murray State and was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He is the older brother of Quinnen Williams, a defensive lineman who also plays for the New York Jets. College career Quincy Williams played multiple positions at Murray State University. His freshman year he redshirted in 2014. In 2015 he played in 11 games with three starts. He finished the season with 31 tackles and a pass breakup. In 2016 he played in 10 game with three starts with 32 tackles, 13 solo with one pass breakup. His senior year he played in all 11 games and finished the season with 78 tackles and two interceptions, one being a pick six. Linebacker
Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen. They are the "middle ground" of defenders, playing closer to the line of scrimmage than the defensive backs (secondary), but farther back than the defensive linemen. As such, linebackers play a hybrid role and are often the most versatile players on the defensive side of the ball; they can be asked to play roles similar to either a defensive lineman (such as stopping the runner on a running play) or a defensive back (such as dropping back into pass coverage). In gridiron football, a lineman is a player who specializes in play at the line of scrimmage. The linemen of the team currently in possession of the ball are the offensive line, while linemen on the opposing team are the defensive line. A number of NFL rules specifically address restrictions and requirements for the offensive line, whose job is to help protect the quarterback from getting sacked for a loss, or worse, fumbling. Jalen Alexander Hurts (born August 7, 1998) is an American football quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). He played his first three seasons of college football at Alabama, where he was part of the team that won the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship, and used his final year of eligibility at Oklahoma.
