''Queen Forever'' is a compilation album by the British rock band Queen (band), Queen. Released on 10 November 2014, it features tracks the band had "forgotten about" with vocals from original lead singer Freddie Mercury. Queen's bassist John Deacon is also on the tracks. Drummer Roger Taylor (Queen drummer), Roger Taylor spoke about the album in December 2013, stating that he and guitarist Brian May were "getting together...in the new year to finish what we've got there and then we're going to fashion some kind of album". Queen are a British rock band formed in London in 1970 by Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano), Brian May (guitar, vocals) and Roger Taylor (Queen drummer), Roger Taylor (drums, vocals), later joined by John Deacon (bass). Their earliest works were influenced by progressive rock, hard rock and Heavy metal music, heavy metal, but the band gradually ventured into more conventional and radio-friendly works by incorporating further styles, such as arena rock and pop rock. Before forming Queen, May and Taylor had played together in the band Smile (band), Smile. Mercury was a fan of Smile and encouraged them to experiment with more elaborate stage and recording techniques. He joined in 1970 and suggested the name "Queen". Queen Rocks
''Queen Rocks'' is a compilation album by the British rock band Queen, released on 3 November 1997. Content The compilation is unique to the Queen catalogue, as it deliberately does not follow the standard "greatest hits" collection format and focuses on songs from Queen's heavier side. Some hits are present ("We Will Rock You", " I Want It All" and "Fat Bottomed Girls"), while other tracks included were never released as singles anywhere (" Put Out the Fire", " Tear It Up" and "Sheer Heart Attack"). The album also contains a remake of "I Can't Live With You", with a much louder and heavier guitar and more aggressive drumming, and one new track, "No-One but You (Only the Good Die Young)", which is a gentle ballad. "There Must Be More to Life Than This" is the eighth track on Queen singer Freddie Mercury's debut solo album '' Mr. Bad Guy'', released on 29 April 1985 by Columbia Records. The song was originally recorded by Queen for 1982's ''Hot Space'', but failed to make the final version of the album. It was previously recorded as a duet between Mercury and Michael Jackson, along with two other songs: " State of Shock" (later reworked with Mick Jagger for a version by the Jacksons) and "Victory" (which remains unreleased). Giovanni Giorgio Moroder (, ; born 26 April 1940) is an Italian composer, songwriter, and record producer. Dubbed the "Honorific nicknames in popular music, Father of Disco", Moroder is credited with pioneering euro disco and electronic dance music.
