Qubaisi ( ar, قبيسي) is a sub-tribe of Bani Yas, of Abu Dhabi, closely associated with the Bani Yas of Abu Dhabi. Amna Al Qubaisi
Amna Al Qubaisi (; born 28 March 2000) is an Emirati racing driver. On the 16th of December 2018, she became the first Middle Eastern woman to take part in a motorsport test program for Formula E after the Diriyah ePrix in Saudi Arabia. This was just a few months after a ban, prohibiting all women from driving, was lifted within Saudi Arabia on the 24th of June 2018. Khaled Abdulla Al Qubaisi (born 22 December 1975 in Abu Dhabi) is an Emirati businessman and racing driver who is the Chief Executive Officer of Real Estate & Infrastructure Investments at Mubadala Investment Company. Hamda Al Qubaisi (born 8 August 2002) is an Emirati female racing driver who currently races in the Formula Regional European Championship for Prema Racing. In June 2021 she became the first woman in the history of Italian F4 to score a podium, achieving third place in the first race at Misano. Khadem Abdullah al-Qubaisi ( ar, خادم عبد الله القبيسي; born September 27, 1971) is an Emirati businessman and the former managing director of the International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC). In 2015, he was replaced as managing director of IPIC and later investigated in a series of probes into misappropriated funds in connection with 1Malaysia Development Berhad. He was arrested in the United Arab Emirates in 2016 as part of investigations into the 1Malaysia Development Berhad scandal. Salama Bint Butti Al-Qubaisi
Sheikha Salama bint Butti Al Qubaisi ( ar, ٱلشَّيْخَۃ سَلَامَة بِنْت بُطِّي القبيسي, Ash-Shaykhah Salāmah bint Buṭṭī) was the wife of Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi from 1922, and the mother of Sheikhs Shakhbut (who ruled Abu Dhabi from 1928 to 1966) and Zayed (who ruled Abu Dhabi from 1966 to 2004, and was the President of the United Arab Emirates from 1971 to 2004). Bani Yas ( ar, بَنُو ياس) is a tribal confederation of Najdi origin in the United Arab Emirates. The tribal coalition which consists of tribes from Dubai to Khawr al Udayd southeast of Qatar, was called the Bani Yas Coalition.
