Quarta Colônia State Park
The Quarta Colônia State Park pt, Parque Estadual Quarta Colônia is a state park in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. It protects an area of seasonal deciduous forest beside the dam of a hydroelectric power plant that started operation in 2001 on the Jacuí River. As of 2016 there was no management plan and the park had not been opened for visitors. Agudo, Rio Grande Do Sul
Agudo is a municipality in Rio Grande do Sul, the southernmost state of Brazil. Location Agudo is 83 meters above sea level. The total area is 553,1 km² and the population was estimated at 16,401 in 2020. The municipality contains part of the Quarta Colônia State Park, created in 2005. Köppen Climate Classification
The Köppen climate classification is one of the most widely used climate classification systems. It was first published by German-Russian climatologist Wladimir Köppen (1846–1940) in 1884, with several later modifications by Köppen, notably in 1918 and 1936. Oncilla
The oncilla (''Leopardus tigrinus''), also known as the northern tiger cat, little spotted cat, and tigrillo, is a small spotted cat ranging from Central America to central Brazil. It is listed as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List, and the population is threatened by deforestation and conversion of habitat to agricultural land. In 2013, it was proposed to assign the oncilla populations in southern Brazil, Paraguay, and Argentina to a new species: the southern tiger cat (''L. guttulus''), after it was found that it does not interbreed with the oncilla population in northeastern Brazil. Geoffroy's cat (''Leopardus geoffroyi'') is a small wild cat native to the southern and central regions of South America. It is about the size of a domestic cat. It is listed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List because it is widespread and abundant over most of its range. Brocket Deer
Brockets or brocket deer are the species of deer in the genus ''Mazama''. They are medium to small in size, and are found in the Yucatán Peninsula, Central and South America, and the island of Trinidad. Most species are primarily found in forests. They are superficially similar to the African duikers and the Asian muntjacs, but only distantly related. About 10 species of brocket deer are described. Germano Rigotto
Germano Antônio Rigotto (born 24 September 1949, in Caxias do Sul) is a Brazilian politician currently affiliated to the MDB. He was the Governor of Rio Grande do Sul state until 1 January 2007. He ran for a second term in October 2006 elections, but he was unexpectedly defeated by Olívio Dutra and Yeda Crusius. Rigotto placed third by a small margin: 0.17% behind Olivio Dutra.
