Qin Kai (diver)
Qin Kai (; born January 31, 1986) is a Chinese athlete who competes in diving. He competed for Team China at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, and the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio. Career At the 2001 World Junior Championships, he won the gold on the 3m Springboard and the silver medal on the Platform. At the 2006 National Championships, he won the silver medal on the springboard. At the 2006 World Cup, he won the gold on the 3m springboard. At the 2007 World Championships, he won the gold on the springboard and in the synchro springboard. At the 2008 World Cup, he won the gold in the 3m Synchro Springboard. He is the 2008 Olympic Champion on the 3m Synchronized Springboard with Wang Feng and won bronze in the Men's 3m Springboard. In 2009, he again won the 3m Synchronized Springboard with Wang Feng at the World Championships in Rome. He also won the individual gold at the 1m Springboard at the same championships. He Zi (; born 11 December 1990 in Nanning, Guangxi) is an Olympic medal winning Chinese female diver, specialising in the 1 meter springboard, 3 meter springboard and 3 meter synchronised dive. 2015 World Aquatics Championships
The 16th FINA World Aquatics Championships, FINA World Championships (russian: Чемпионат мира по водным видам спорта 2015), also Aquatics 2015, were held in Kazan, Russia from 24 July to 9 August 2015. Russia hosted this event for the first time. The number of participating national teams (190), athletes (2,400) and the number of medals (75) were the most ever amongst these championships. This was the first time the World Aquatics Championships partially overlaps with the FINA World Masters Championships that have a number of athletes (near 5,500), countries (110) and medals (635) which are the most ever also. Events The following events were contested by both men and women in Barcelona: * 1 m springboard * 3 m springboard * 10 m platform * 3 m springboard synchronized * 10 m platform synchronized Individual events consisted of preliminaries, semifinals and finals. The order of divers in the preliminary round were determined by computerized random selection, during the technical meeting. The 18 divers with the highest scores in the preliminaries proceed to the semifinals. The semifinal consisted of the top 18 ranked divers from the preliminary competition and the final consisted of the top 12 ranked divers from the semifinal.
