Qidong railway station () is a railway station in Qidong, Nantong, Jiangsu, China. Situated north of the urban core of Qidong, it is the eastern terminus for passenger operations on the Nanjing–Qidong railway The Nanjing–Qidong railway (), commonly referred to in short as the Ningqi railway (), is a higher-speed rail line in Jiangsu Province, China. Qidong, Jiangsu
Qidong is a county-level city under the administration of the prefecture-level city of Nantong in southeastern Jiangsu province, China. It is located on the north side of the Yangtze River opposite Shanghai and forms a peninsula jutting out into the East China Sea. It has a population of 1.12 million. The center of the city is named Huilong Township. It also has a well-known fishing port called Lüsi town, named after Lü Dongbin, one of the eight immortals, who is said to have visited the place four times. Qidong's Qilong township was formerly a separate island in the Yangtze called Yonglongsha but now forms a pene-enclave on Chongming Island, most of which belongs to Shanghai. Nantong (; alternate names: Nan-t'ung, Nantung, Tongzhou, or Tungchow; Qihai dialect: ) is a prefecture-level city in southeastern Jiangsu province of China, province, China. The Nanjing–Qidong railway (), commonly referred to in short as the Ningqi railway (), is a higher-speed rail line in Jiangsu Province, China. Its common name is derived from ''Ning'', the one-character abbreviation for Nanjing and ''Qi'', which refers to Qidong, a county-level city of Nantong. Until 2019, the railway only ran as far as east as Nantong East railway station. On January 5, 2019, the line was extended to Qidong and it is now long. Hangzhou South Railway Station
Hangzhou South railway station () is a railway station located in the Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. History Xiaoshan railway station () opened in 1992. Xiaoshan station was renamed Hangzhou South station on January 1, 2010. The station closed for renovation work on July 1, 2013 when Hangzhou East railway station opened. The metro station on the newly built Metro Line 5, which connects the railway station with Xiaoshan District, downtown, northern and western Hangzhou, opened on June 30, 2020.
