Qambar Khan
Qambar, is the headquarter of Qambar Shahdadkot District in Sindh. It has a district court and district level government offices. The town is also famous due to a large following of the living saint Saien Hussain Shah. History Qamber town was part of Larkana District until December 2004 when the Sindh government announced the creation of a new district and made it the capital of the new Qambar-Shahdad Kot District. Qambar Shahdadkot District ( sd, ضلعو قمبر شهداد ڪوٽ, ur, ) is a district of Sindh, Pakistan, originally named after Shahdad Khan Khuhawar the official founder. District Qambar Shahdadkot, with headquarters at Qambar, was established on 13 December 2004. Taluka Qambar and Shahdadkot Tehsil were part of Larkana district since long before they were combined and made one district for administrative purposes. At first it was named only Qambar but because of dissent from the people of Shahdadkot Tehsil, Shahdadkot city, the name Shahdadkot was added. Today, however, the locals of Shahdadkot demand a separate district comprising Shahdadkot Tehsil, Shahdadkot, Qubo Saeed Khan and Sijawal Junejo as they face difficulties in governmental work because they must go a long distance to Qambar to get the work done because most government offices are there. Larkana District
Larkana District (Sindhi language, Sindhi: ضلعو لاڙڪاڻو; ur, ) is a district of Sindh province of Pakistan. Its main city is Larkana on the banks of the Indus River. Shahdadkot Tehsil
Shahdadkot ( sd, شھدادڪوٽ; ur, ) is the most populated and largest Tehsil of Qambar Shahdadkot District of Sindh, Pakistan. It was named after the town founder Shahdad Khan Khuhawar. It is located around 51 kilometres northwest of Larkana and 34 kilometers north of Qambar. The town is in close proximity to three districts of Balochistan namely Khuzdar, Jhal Magsi and Jaffarabad in the west and north of the district. It is linked on the M8 motorway route between Gwadar and Ratodero. Town is also a political stronghold of Pakistan People's Party since 1970.
