Q1 Tower (an abbreviation of Queensland Number One) is a supertall skyscraper in Queensland, Australia. The residential tower on the Gold Coast was the world's tallest residential building from 2005 to 2011. As of September 2022, it is the 14th tallest residential tower in the world, the tallest building in Australia, the second tallest building in the Southern Hemisphere, and the third-tallest free-standing structure in the Southern Hemisphere, behind the Autograph Tower in Jakarta, Indonesia, and the Sky Tower in Auckland, New Zealand. Soul is a tall residential tower local along the Esplanade, close to Cavill Avenue in Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. it is the 3rd tallest building on the Gold Coast behind Ocean which topped out in late 2021 but above Circle at Cavil. The building was approved by the Gold Coast City Council in October 2004 and finished construction in 2012 along with the next stage of the Gold Coast renovation project. It was developed by Juniper Group, and constructed by Grocon at a cost of A$850 million. History The site was previously occupied by the Raptis Plaza. Eureka Tower is a skyscraper located in the Southbank precinct of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Construction began in August 2002 and the exterior was completed on 1 June 2006. The plaza was finished in June 2006 and the building was officially opened on 11 October 2006.
