Rasul Guliyev ( az, Rəsul Bayram oğlu Quliyev; born December 10, 1947) was Speaker of the National Assembly of Azerbaijan from 1993 to 1996. Biography details Early years Guliyev was born on December 10, 1947 in the Gazanchy village of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan. After completing his secondary education in 1965, he entered the Chemistry-Technology faculty of the Oil And Chemistry Institute of Azerbaijan, graduating in 1970 and gaining the profession of a technologist-engineer. Tofig Alakbar oglu Guliyev ( az, Tofiq Ələkbər oğlu Quliyev, tr, Tevfik Elekber oğlu Guliyev; 7 November 1917, Baku – 4 October 2000, Baku) was a Soviet and Azerbaijani composer, pianist, and conductor. Biography Tofig Guliyev was born in Baku, in the family of salary worker. He became a student of the Azerbaijan State Conservatoire when he was 12 years old due to his musical talent. But in 1934, he became a student of Baku Conservatoire, where he studied in two faculties - fortepiano (in professor I.S.Aysberg’s class) and composer (in professor S. G. Strasser’s class). Fuad Khalil oghlu Guliyev ( az, Fuad Xəlil oğlu Quliyev), (born 6 July 1941), was the 5th Prime Minister of Azerbaijan. Early life Guliyev was born on 6 July 1941 in Baku, Azerbaijan. He studied at a city school No. 160 from 1948 through 1958 and was admitted to the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy the same year. Vilayat Mukhtar oglu Guliyev ( az, Vilayət Muxtar oğlu Quliyev / , ; born 5 November 1952) is an Azerbaijani politician who was Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan from 1999 to 2004. Ramil Guliyev ( az, Ramil Eldar oğlu Quliyev; born 29 May 1990) is an Azerbaijani-born Turkish sprinter. He competes in the 100 metres and 200 metres. At the 2017 World Championships, Guliyev became the World Champion in the 200 metres, winning Turkey's first ever gold medal in the World Championships. His club is Fenerbahçe Athletics. Adil Guliyev
Adil Huseyn oghlu Guliyev (; russian: Адиль Гусейн оглы Кулиев, translit=Adil' Guseyn ogly Kuliyev; 22 November 192216 December 1992) was an Azerbaijani fighter pilot in the Soviet Air Force who became a flying ace with twenty shootdowns during the Second World War. A recipient of the title Hero of the Soviet Union for his feats, he remained in the Soviet Air Force and retired with the rank of colonel in 1966. Later he became a director of Baku Airport.
