Quinn McDowell
Quinn Thomas McDowell (born January 13, 1990) is an American former professional basketball player and current coach. He currently serves as an assistant coach with the Longwood Lancers men's basketball team. Professional career In January 2013, McDowell signed with the Willetton Tigers in Australia for the 2013 State Basketball League season. He was named in the SBL All-Star Five and averaged 29.4 points, 8.2 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.0 steals in 26 games. In November 2013, McDowell joined the Springfield Armor of the NBA Development League. He was waived on February 19, 2014, after averaging 3.5 points and 2.1 rebounds in 22 games. He subsequently returned to Australia and re-joined the Willetton Tigers for the 2014 SBL season. He averaged a league-leading 30.1 points per game to go with 10.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.1 steals in 23 games. Willetton Tigers is an NBL1 West club based in Perth, Western Australia. The club fields a team in both the Men's and Women's NBL1 West. The club is a division of Willetton Basketball Association (WBA), the major administrative basketball organisation in the Melville/Canning region. The Longwood Lancers are the intercollegiate athletics teams that represent Longwood University, located in Farmville, Virginia. The University's 14 men’s and women’s teams compete at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I level. Since 2012, the Lancers have been a member of the Big South Conference. In March 2022, the Longwood Lancers men's basketball and women's basketball teams won Big South Tournament titles, punching the first tickets to the NCAA basketball tournament in the school’s Division I history. Upland, Indiana
Upland (pronounced as "up-land") is a town in Jefferson Township, Grant County, Indiana, United States. The population was 3,845 at the 2010 census. It is most notable for being the home of Taylor University, a Christian college with 2,103 students, as of 2016. History Most of the land that is now part of Upland was purchased by John Oswalt in the 1830s. He was a speculator, and believed that a canal connecting Indianapolis and Fort Wayne might pass through the area. The town was formed in the late 1860s by Jacob Bugher, who planned for it to be a depot point on the Indiana Central Railroad.
