Quinceañera (1987 TV Series)
''Quinceañera'' (English title: ''Sweet 15'') is a Mexican telenovela produced by Carla Estrada for Televisa in 1987. ''Quinceañera'' was the first telenovela to talk about substance abuse, date rape and gangs, and is considered to be the first telenovela made for teenagers. ''Quinceañera'' was named by the Associated Press as one of the 10 most influential telenovelas ever to air in Latin America, and Univision tlnovelas viewers named it one of their all-time favorite Mexican telenovelas. In 2010, ''Quinceañera'' was placed #7 on the People en Español's "20 Best Telenovelas" list, and in 2012, Terra named it as one of the 50 best telenovelas of all-time. A (also , , , and ) is a celebration of a girl's 15th birthday. It has pre-Columbian roots in Mexico (Aztecs) and is widely celebrated by girls throughout Latin America. The girl celebrating her 15th birthday is a (; gender (linguistics), feminine form of "15-year-old"). Nailea Norvind (born 16 February 1970) is a Mexican theater, television and film actress. She appeared in the critically acclaimed 1987 film '' Gaby: A True Story''. She also lent her voice to play Princess Kida in the Spanish dubbing of '' Atlantis: The Lost Empire''. Rafael Rojas (born Rafael Humberto Rojas Morales on April 16, 1961 in San José, Costa Rica) is a Costa Rican former male fashion model and actor of telenovelas and of the cinema of Mexico. Ernesto Laguardia (; born October 5, 1959) is a Mexican actor known for his performances in Mexican telenovelas. Biography Laguardia was born in Mexico City and started as a model while he was in elementary school.
