Club Atlético Quilmes (mostly known as Quilmes de Mar del Plata) is a sports club based in Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. Although other sports are practised in the club, Quilmes is mostly known for its basketball team, which currently plays in the Liga Nacional de Básquet, the top division of Argentine league system. Other activities practised in Quilmes are dance, field hockey, football, gymnastics, martial arts and roller skating. Quilmes' arch-rival is Peñarol, from the same city. History Origins in football Quilmes was founded on April 12, 1922, by a group of young people who used to play football in some of the many unoccupied lands that existed in Mar del Plata in those times. Olimpia Basketball Club, commonly known as Olimpia de Venado Tuerto (, abbreviated Olimpia BBC) is an Argentine professional basketball club, that is based in the city of Venado Tuerto, Santa Fe Province. Club Olimpo, usually referred to as Olimpo de Bahía Blanca, is an Argentine sports club based in the city of Bahía Blanca, Buenos Aires Province. The club was founded October 15th, 1910. Its primary activity is soccer. The club is recognized in Argentina's highest soccer league. In basketball the club participated in the Torneo Nacional de Ascenso until the 2016/2017 season, stopping due to economic problems. Torneo Argentino B was one of two leagues that form the fourth level of the Argentine football league system, made up of 100+ teams playing within eight regional zones across Argentina. The other league at level four wasand still isthe Primera C Metropolitana, which is a competition for the numerous clubs in the city of Buenos Aires and the Greater Buenos Aires metropolitan area. The Torneo Argentino B season would end with the top teams from each zone playing in cross-over playoffs, culminating with overall champions and a number of teams (varied by season) eligible for promotion to the following season's Torneo Argentino A competition. Club Atlético Alvarado is an Argentine football club from the city of Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires Province. The team currently plays in the Primera B Nacional, the 2nd division of the Argentine football league system. The club has played at the highest level of Argentine football on only one occasion, more specifically in the 1978 Campeonato Nacional, which coincided with the 50th anniversary of its foundation. Alvarado participated in Group D of that tournament, finishing 7th of 8 teams. The team's most notable results that year were two 1-1 draws with Quilmes, the 1978 Metropolitano champion, a 4-4 draw with Atlanta and a great 5-0 victory over San Lorenzo.
