Immanuel Jaylen Quickley (born June 17, 1999), is an American professional basketball player for the Toronto Raptors of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats and was selected by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round of the 2020 NBA draft. Early life While attending The John Carroll School, Quickley had a breakout sophomore campaign and averaged 17.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.5 steals per game. He sunk a 3-pointer at the buzzer to lead the Patriots to a 51–50 win over future NBA player Jalen Smith and Mount Saint Joseph High School in the Baltimore Catholic League championship and earned All-Metro Player of the Year recognition. The draft was originally scheduled to be held at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on June 25, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was instead conducted at ESPN's facilities in Bristol, Connecticut, with the event held via videoconferencing. The NBA All-Rookie Team is an annual National Basketball Association (NBA) honor given since the 1962–63 NBA season to the top rookies during the regular season. Voting is conducted by the NBA head coaches who are not allowed to vote for players on their own team.
