Edward Killy
Edward Arthur Killy (January 26, 1903 – July 2, 1981) was an American director, assistant director and production manager in films and television. He was one of the few individuals to be nominated for the short-lived Academy Award for Best Assistant Director. During his 30-year career he worked on over 75 films and television shows. Life and career Killy was born on January 26, 1903 in Connecticut. He entered the film industry as an assistant director at RKO Pictures, his first film being the 1931 musical comedy, '' Caught Plastered'', directed by William Seiter, and starring the comedy duo of Bert Wheeler and Robert Woolsey. Over the next five years he assisted on over a dozen films, many of them notable films. John Forrest "Fuzzy" Knight (May 9, 1901 – February 23, 1976) was an American film and television actor. He was also a singer, especially in his early career. He appeared in more than 180 films between 1928 and 1967, usually as a cowboy hero's comic sidekick. Biography Knight was born in Fairmont, West Virginia, the third child and son of James A. and Olive Knight. In Fairmont, he worked as a clerk at a hotel and played in a theater orchestra. Billy Franey
William Gerald Franey (June 23, 1889 – December 6, 1940) was an American film actor. Born in Chicago in 1889, Franey appeared in more than 400 films between 1914 and 1941, mostly playing comedic roles. He was an actor of disheveled appearance and fuzzy mustache, usually in a suit a couple of sizes too big. His late career included numerous uncredited appearances in classics like ''Bringing Up Baby'', and he also appeared as the father-in-law of Edgar Kennedy in several of his series of short comedies. James Farley (actor)
James Farley (January 8, 1882 – October 12, 1947) was an American character actor of the silent and sound film eras. Biography Born in Waldron, Arkansas, on January 8, 1882, Farley made his film debut in the 1916 silent film '' Sins of Her Parent''. During his thirty-year film career he appeared in over 200 films and film shorts, including over 175 feature films. Farley worked right up until his death; his final film was released after his death, 1948's '' The Man from Texas''. The production of the film ended in early June 1947, and Farley died shortly after, on October 12, 1947, in Pacoima, California.
