Carla Quevedo
Carla Quevedo (born 23 April 1988) is an Argentine actress. She is most known for her limited but crucial role in ''The Secret in Their Eyes'', in which she played Liliana Coloto. Career Her acting debut was in the year 2009 in Argentina film directed by Juan José Campanella, ''The Secret in Their Eyes'', winner of the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. It also stars Ricardo Darín, Soledad Villamil, Pablo Rago, and Guillermo Francella. In the film, Quevedo plays Liliana Coloto a murdered girl around which the story centers. She currently is a designer for the La Belle Rebelle swimsuit line and lives in both New York City and Buenos Aires. Nuria Quevedo Teixidó (born 18 March 1938) is a Spanish painter and graphic artist, affiliated with the Communist Party, who has lived in Berlin since age 15. Biography Nuria Quevedo's father, José Quevedo Fernández, was an aviator of the Spanish Republican Air Force. In 1939 he left Spain for France, along with her mother, but he soon returned to Barcelona, where he stayed until 1942. That year the whole family reunited, this time in Berlin, where her father worked for the Nazis. In 1945 mother and daughter moved to Barcelona, and in 1952 they returned to meet with their father in East Berlin, where they would settle permanently. In East Berlin Quevedo studied at the Higher School of Visual and Applied Arts in Weissensee, with , Arno Mohr, and Klaus Wittkugel, later becoming a student at the East German Academy of Arts. Rubén Eduardo Quevedo (; January 5, 1979 – June 7, 2016) was a Venezuelan professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Chicago Cubs (2000) and Milwaukee Brewers (2001–03). Career Quevedo was signed as an international free agent by the Atlanta Braves in 1995 and was traded to the Cubs in 1999. He played with the Cubs in 2000 and was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers in 2001 for right-handed pitcher David Weathers. After three years with Milwaukee, Quevedo signed as a free agent with the Baltimore Orioles in 2004. He appeared in one game for Baltimore's Double–A affiliate, the Bowie Baysox. Raymond Quevedo (24 March 1892 – 22 February 1962), better known as Atilla the Hun, was a calypsonian from Trinidad. He began singing in 1911 and was at his most prominent in the 1930s and 1940s.
