Quebec Route 307
Route 307 is a provincial road located in the Outaouais region of Quebec. The road runs mostly parallel to the Gatineau River on the eastern side of it. It starts at the corner of Rue Saint-Louis and Boulevard Greber in the Gatineau sector of the city of Gatineau. It runs north of Gatineau and ends in Val-des-Bois at the junction of Route 309 which runs from the Buckingham sector north into the Upper Laurentians. The main communities the highway passes through are Gatineau, Cantley and Val-des-Monts. In Gatineau, it is known as Rue Saint-Louis, in Cantley it is known as Montée de la Source and in Val-des Monts it is named Route Principale. Cantley, Quebec
Cantley is a rural municipality in Quebec, Canada, north of the city of Gatineau, east of the Gatineau River, located within Canada's National Capital Region approximately from Parliament Hill. Cantley is one of six municipalities within the Collines-de-l'Outaouais Regional County Municipality. Its roots are in farmland, but recent housing projects since its creation in 1989 have resulted in a high rate of population growth. The population at the 2021 Canadian Census was 11,449, an increase of 7.0% from the 2016 population of 10,699. French is the first language of 86.7% of Cantley's residents. Mont-Laurier () is a town and incorporated municipality in northwest Quebec, Canada, located on the banks of the Lièvre River (''Rivière du Lièvre''), a tributary of the Ottawa River. Wakefield, Quebec
Wakefield is one of many villages of the Municipality La Pêche, with the village centre on the western shore of the Gatineau River, at the confluence of the La Pêche River in the Outaouais region of the province of Quebec in Canada. Quebec Autoroute 50
Autoroute 50 (Autoroute de l'Outaouais) is an Autoroute in western Quebec, Canada. It links Canada's National Capital Region (Gatineau) and the Greater Montreal area ( Mirabel). Until November 2012, there were two distinct sections of A-50: one section running eastward from Hull and the other westward from Mirabel. The gap in the highway was filled on November 26, 2012, and the two-lane freeway opened for traffic on the full length. The route provides an east-west freeway alternative to Route 148 that does not require travelling in Ontario, unlike the main Trans-Canada Highway route ( A-40 / Hwy 417). Bowman is a village and municipality in the Outaouais region of Quebec, Canada. It is located in the Laurentian Hills, north-east of Gatineau. The 2010 Central Canada earthquake occurred with a moment magnitude of 5.0 in Central Canada on 23 June at about 13:41:41 EDT and lasted about 30 seconds. The epicentre was situated in the area of Buckingham, Quebec, approximately north of Ottawa, Ontario, closest to the settlement of Val-des-Bois, Quebec.
