''Que tu fe nunca muera'' (English: ''That your faith never dies'') is the 18th studio album by Mexican pop singer Yuri. It was released in 2000 and was produced by her husband Rodrigo Espinoza. Reception Yuri openly demonstrates with this album her evangelistic faith with a style of rancheras and gospel music. Yuri (Mexican Singer)
Yuridia Valenzuela Canseco, commonly known as Yuri, (born, 6 January 1964) is a Mexican singer, actress and television host. Yuri began her career as a teenage singer in her native country. In 1978 she released her first album titled '' Tú Iluminas mi Vida''. She gained recognition as a result of her participation in the Oti Festival in 1980. In the 1980s and early 1990s, Yuri established herself as one of the most popular pop music singers in Mexico and Latin America. Her vocal quality and versatility allow her to be incorporated into other musical genres, ranging from pop to dance, ranchera and tropical music genres. Thanks to her success and influence, she came to be considered the "Queen of Latin Pop". Ranchera () or canción ranchera is a genre of traditional music of Mexico. It dates to before the years of the Mexican Revolution. Rancheras today are played in virtually all regional Mexican music styles. Reception Yuri comes back to the secular public view with this album under the supervision of Muxxic Latina. With this album she tries to return to her time-worn Pop, ballad, and R&B roots, but without leaving her fanatical religious belief.
