Quarry Lake (Maryland)
Quarry Lake is a manmade lake in the Pikesville area of Baltimore County, Maryland. Originally a marble quarry, it is now one of the deepest lakes in the state. The lake is surrounded by Quarry Lake at Greenspring, a mixed residential development and commercial development that includes single-family homes, condominiums, shops, and office buildings. The quarry was likely originally run by the Boyle family, later transferred to the McMahon family. Pikesville is a census-designated place (CDP) in Baltimore County, Maryland, United States. Pikesville is just northwest of the Baltimore city limits. It is the northwestern suburb closest to Baltimore. The population was 30,764 at the 2010 census. The corridor along Interstate 795, which links Pikesville, Owings Mills and Reisterstown to the Baltimore Beltway ( Interstate 695), contains one of the larger Jewish populations in Maryland. Milford Mill Road, Slade Avenue, and Smith Avenue are a long road mostly in Baltimore County, Maryland that runs through Milford Mill and Pikesville in the suburbs of Baltimore. Old Court Road
Old Court Road is a state- and county-maintained highway in the U.S. state of Maryland. Including the adjacent road in Howard County known as Woodstock Road, the highway runs from Maryland Route 99 (MD 99) near Woodstock east to Joppa Road near Towson.
