Quannah Chasinghorse
Quannah Rose Chasinghorse-Potts (born c. 2002) is an Indigenous American model. She appeared on the 2020 ''Teen Vogue'' list of Top 21 under 21. Career Chasinghorse was interested in modeling and fashion from a young age but, due to the lack of indigenous representation she found in magazines and fashion shows, did not think it was feasible as a career. In 2020, she landed a gig with Calvin Klein for their ''one future #ckone'' youth campaign. She then signed with IMG Models. She has since featured on the covers of ''Vogue Mexico'', ''Vogue Japan'', '' V Magazine,'' ''Elle'', and ''Porter''. She became recognised for her traditional face tattoos called Yidįįłtoo. Chasinghorse makes a point of celebrating indigenous fashion and promoting sustainable indigenous brands. Her red carpet look at the Gilded Age themed Met Gala in May 2022 went viral on social media. Tuba City ( nv, ) is an Unincorporated area, unincorporated town in Coconino County, Arizona, Coconino County, Arizona, on the Navajo Nation, United States. It is the second-largest community in Coconino County. The population of the census-designated place (CDP) was 8,611 at the 2010 United States Census, 2010 census. It is the most populous community within the Navajo Nation, slightly larger than Shiprock, New Mexico, and the site of the headquarters of the Western Navajo Agency. Miss Navajo
Miss Navajo Nation is a pageant that has been held annually on the Navajo Nation, United States, since 1952. The first Miss Navajo was Beulah Melvin Allen, in 1952. She was crowned at the Navajo Nation Fair, the largest fair held on the Navajo Nation, which had been established three years earlier. Pageant contestants must be unmarried, over 18 years of age, be a high school graduate, and be able to speak the Navajo language. They compete in such activities as answering questions about traditional and modern Navajo customs both in Navajo and English, sheep butchering, and performing a contemporary and Navajo cultural talent. The current Miss Navajo Nation (2022-2023) is Valentina Clitso. The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR or Arctic Refuge) is a national wildlife refuge in northeastern Alaska, United States on traditional Gwich'in lands. Nathan Lee Chasing His Horse, also known as Nathan Chasing Horse and Nathan Chases His Horse (born April 28, 1976) is a Native American actor. Eagle Village is a census-designated place (CDP) in Southeast Fairbanks Census Area, Alaska, United States. The population was 67 at the 2010 census. The village was destroyed in spring 2009 during severe flooding. Ice dams formed on the river, and the waters flooded behind them, destroying much of the old village. There were no fatalities.
